• Develop and manage a team of regular volunteers from the local community to support the Active Agenig Centre.
• Maintain the centre’s volunteer management system
• Networking with institutions, corporates and other agencies to grow volunteer pool
• Establish a system of recognition for the volunteers.

4. Finance and Accounts

• Prepare and manage centre’s annual budget
• Procurement, Infotech and Tenderboard administration
• Manage the monthly petty cash utilization of the centre.
• Implement checks and controls in the accounting system to ensure proper accounting records and also to safeguard against misappropriation of the centre’s assets.

5. Training and Development of Personnel

• Lead, motivate and manage the team of staff and volunteers
• Manpower planning

6. Administrative Duties

• Administrative duties which include data collection and reporting for reporting and evaluation purposes
• Undertake any other duties as required.

7. Qualifications/Competencies

• At least degree in related discipline with at least 2 years of related working experience preferably Leadership skills

Job Responsibilities:

• To fulfil ship repair jobs afloat or shipyard
• Carrying out maintenance, service and repair of all mechanical equipment (Diesel Engines, pumps, gearboxes, couplings, alternators, hydraulic system, deck machinery etc) on board all vessels as assigned.
• Troubleshooting all the mechanical equipment on board vessels.
• Jobs involved engine equipment removal, reinstallation, servicing, repair and reconditioning, commissioning activity.
• Ensure adequate maintenance of tools, equipment and cleanliness in the workshop.
• Managing team and delivering ship / shipyard schedule required.
• Carrying out any retrofit job for new equipment installation on board vessels.
• VSCC meeting, permit to work system, and trade certificates are required
• Managing of workforce and job, writing job completion report, submitting cost evaluation, liaise with owners representative, and always have to follow company SOP.
• Any other duties as assigned by ship repair manager and management.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Certificate in Marine Engineering or equivalent.

JOB SCOPE

Overview

To ensure specific rooms are ready and inspected for on day’s VIP and groups’ arrival by stipulated time and investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and taking corrective action for service recovery.

Job Responsibilities

• Assign Team Members with duties and inspect work for conformance to prescribe standards of cleanliness.
• Supervise, train, support and monitor Team Members.
• Conduct on the job and in-service trainings and explain policies, work procedures and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment.
• Evaluate records to forecast department’s manpower requirements.
• Advise manager and front office Team Members on rooms’ status.
• Screen job applicants, hire new employees and recommend promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
• Coach and counsel Team Members on work performance.
• Ensure clear and effective communication between housekeeping and other departments.
• Report all work orders to facilities for rectifications.
• Approach all encounters with guests and Team Members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Comply at all times with the hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma in education.
• Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping.
