We’re looking to add a Engineering Assistant, Manufacturing (Contract 1 Year) in Singapore. The position will be based in our HQ office in Ang Mo Kio.

As an Engineering Assistant, Manufacturing (Contract 1 Year), you will:

Responsible in assisting Engineers in process flow improvement, troubleshooting, maintaining and making engineering improvement to the automation lines.

The key responsibilities are as below:

• Identify and manage process improvements relating to product quality, cost, cycle time and manufacturing line efficiencies.
• Analyze, propose and implement corrective action plans to resolve quality issues.
• Provide line support and optimization of yield improvement plans.
• Assist in product transfer.
• Set up BOM, prepare Venture Standard Operating Procedure and Engineering Alert.
• Conduct training for the Production Associates.
• Handle tooling, equipment and work cell maintenance.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Company.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

• Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience in a highly competitive product manufacturing environment preferred.
• Understand process control and SPC method.
• Good analytical skills required.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Description

• Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as data entry assignments, filing, organization of paperwork, archiving, etc.
• Assist in preparation of paperwork such as scanning, printing, copying, etc.
• Provide general administrative support to the project team
• Any other ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Good command of the English language
• Able to commit to a 5-day work week (8am -5pm)
