Responsibilities:

• The Senior Research Assistant - Psychology works as part of a research team to support the collection, organisation and management of qualitative and quantitative data related to the experiences of children's wellbeing in Singapore in collaboration with our community partner
• Participate in research project management to support the successful achievement of project milestones
• Participate in the design, collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data
• Conduct literature reviews, ensure compliance with research ethics protocols, and maintain accurate records of research data (surveys, interviews)
• Facilitate the dissemination of research outputs, including strategic survey findings, media release, conference presentations, and publications

Criteria:

Essential

• Honours degree in Psychology at a 2A or 1st class level
• Minimum two years of research experience
• 
  

Desirable

• Masters degree in Clinical, Education and Developmental or Clinical Neuropsychology

Responsibilities:

The Executive Global Experience and Europe, is accountable for:

1. Driving engagement with JCU’s Global Experience offerings by building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring products and services meet their needs and expectations.
2. Ensuring the effective management of JCU’s international mobility agreements, ensuring agreements are current, relevant, and aligned with institutional goals while meeting compliance and reporting standards.
3. Ensuring stakeholders remain well-informed through the delivery of publications, communications, and presentations, ensuring information is accurate and meets requirements.
4. Supporting current and prospective students and academic staff throughout their engagement with inbound and outbound Global Experience programmes, ensuring accurate documentation, risk management, insurance compliance, and reporting of outcomes.
5. Delivering high-level support and expert advice to key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all interactions are professional, customer-focused, and achieve measurable outcomes.

Key selection criteria

1. Undergraduate qualifications with a business-related major.
2. Broad knowledge of the application of international office in higher education.
3. Demonstrated ability to work under broad supervision and collaborate in a geographically dispersed team, delivering quality performance outcomes and contributing positively to business improvement initiatives.
4. High-level organisational, problem-solving, and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet competing deadlines, and an established record of exercising judgement and initiative.
5. Demonstrated high-level verbal communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with academic staff, students, and government bodies, including stakeholders from varying cultures, countries, and backgrounds, with respect and integrity.
6. Demonstrated high-level written and digital literacy, utilising a range of communication methods and social media platforms for business promotion, including the use of a variety of systems to respond to enquiries, record data accurately, and generate and analyse reports.
7. It is a requirement of this position to participate on occasion in operational activity outside of the recognised normal span of hours.
