Main Responsibilities

-Report to the Head Wok Chef

-Take care of Wok Section and Cutter Section

-Play an all-purpose Cook in the kitchen brigade.

-Move from station to station, assisting with any tasks, as needed.

-Assist when another station member is absent or the workload approaches a more hectic pace

-Participate in checking of all purchased supplies for quality and account for each delivered item

-e-Procurement of stock supplies and update GRN

-Maintain discipline, cleanliness, hygiene of the kitchen area

-Ensure the consistency and the quality of food served in the restaurant

-Assist in managing discipline, cleanliness, hygiene of the kitchen area

-Assist in bi-monthly stock take

Job Description:

You will help to cook and feed a school full of preschool children. You will cook nutritious food for them according to the menu prepared by the school. You will need to work efficiently and plan your time well so that meals can be delivered on time.

Job Description & Requirements

The Senior Cook/ Cook/ Assistant Cook is responsible for daily culinary production in the section assigned. Ensure that the food product are produced in accordance to the food safety standards and maintained at all times. The candidate will be responsible for food safety, food production and ensure that food are prepared in accordance to the recipes and instruction by the Chef.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform daily culinary operations and coordination ensure timely execution of daily meals to customers
• Thoroughly understand customer requirements and attributes to ensure their integrity
• Work closely with his/ her team on day to day operational issues and ensure that product and service standards are maintained at all times
• Execution of food production in accordance to the process flow and procedure
• Ensure that records are fill and ensure of their integrity
• Report any faulty equipment
• Work with the culinary team on cyclical menu execution
• Ensuring all kitchen forms are updated during food production
• Observe work place safety and food safety during food production

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experiences
• Possess Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

• Prepare daily meals for children and teachers at the center as needed.
• Occasionally prepare food and snacks for training sessions, parent meetings, or school events as part of the center's operations.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness during food preparation.
• Follow health authorities' guidelines to implement healthy eating menus.
• Thoroughly clean the cooking area, including the kitchen floor and equipment (e.g., dishwasher, water dispenser, washing machine).
• Clean tables, chairs, and shelves in the dining area before the day begins.
• Set up the dining area for mealtimes and clean up, including packing away cutlery and food, after meals.
• Coordinate with the principal or administration to order meats, seafood, and other food ingredients on a weekly basis.

• WSQ Food Safety and Hygiene certificate is required.

• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

• Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 44-hour work week.
