Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our growing team. The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing management reports, GST reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This is a great opportunity for both experienced candidates and fresh graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management/financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Transaction Management: Record, reconcile, and maintain financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• GST Compliance: Prepare and submit GST reports and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation and provide financial forecasting support to help clients manage their finances effectively.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documents, records, and reports to auditors.
• Client Liaison: Communicate with clients regarding their accounts, providing support and resolving any accounting-related queries.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify potential issues, propose solutions, and contribute to process improvements within the finance department.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
  Fresh graduates with relevant academic qualifications are welcome to apply.
  
• Experience:At least 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting is preferred.
  Fresh graduates with a strong academic background in accounting are encouraged to apply.
  
• Skills & Competencies:Proficiency in accounting software such as MYOB, Autocount, Xero, and Microsoft Excel is essential.
  Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
  Ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
  Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
  Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and accounting processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform check in and check out rooms for guests.
• Verify payment for stay including incidental costs by obtaining credit information.
• Assist guests with issues and complaints, with empathy and a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate logs of messages, mail, packages, parcels or other items for guest delivery.
• Maintain accurate accounting of transactions and cash float.
• Ensure folios and charges are keyed into system and maintained accurately.
• Facilitate guest departures by providing accurate statements, checking for guest satisfaction and collecting all payments due.
• Supporting the Concierge on transportation arrangement upon guest request.
• Support Concierge in handling guest enquiries relating to tourist and transport information in Sentosa and Singapore.
• Assist Concierge in carrying luggage or buggy guests when required.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by front office manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, grooming and attitude towards staff and guests.
• Good Interpersonal and Communications Skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills required.
• Customer service oriented.
• Good knowledge in resort and tourism.
• GCE ‘O’ levels and above
• Able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of Front Office Operating System (HMS) would be an added advantage.
