About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts Executive/Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting our business growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle company full set account for not less than 3 years
• Experience in import and export, be able to handle trade facilities, trade finance and L/C related matters
• Prepare monthly audit schedules, financial reports.
• Submission of GST.
• Prepare payment for expenses and petty cash.
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Liaise with auditor, bankers & tax agent.
• Assist in recruitment process.
• A good team player who can work with minimum supervision.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirement:

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualifications with 1-2 years’ relevant experience.
• Experience in MYOB is added advantage.
• Bilingual is required, to liaise with Chinese associates.
• Experience in steel, mining industry is preferred.

As a Senior Finance Executive based in our Batam factory, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and adherence to Indonesian tax regulations. This role requires a dynamic individual with hands-on experience in finance and accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Description

• Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of accounting entries and schedules in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Perform variance analysis and address ad hoc financial reporting queries and issues promptly.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Indonesian taxation laws, particularly corporate tax, and support tax reconciliation processes.
• Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage and execute month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports, providing actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including PIDSG and PIDSG-BT, to align financial goals.
• Demonstrate a willingness to work full-time and independently at the Batam factory.

Requirements

• A degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, with a proven track record in supervisory roles.
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian taxation laws, especially corporate tax.
• Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent command of English and Bahasa Indonesia (In order to communicate with colleagues, who can only speak in Bahasa Indonesia).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• A team player who can work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Sales management support including but not limited to the following:

- Support auction process such as preparation of term sheet and liaising with customers and electricity retailers to obtain the necessary information within strict timelines.

- Post-auction, follow-up with customers and electricity retailers to obtain the necessary documents to conclude the auction.

- Generate and send invoices, monitor payment and perform reconciliation tasks.

- Ensure auction details and payment records are captured accurately and updated in the system

- Engage existing customers on contract renewal

- Onboard new customers, partners and retailers to ensure compliance with established process

• Assist in the preparation and compilation of data / dashboard / slides for monthly meetings
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for sales and non-sales related activities
• Review, refine and streamline existing processes to improve efficiency
• Work with Business Continuity Management team to refine and update business continuity plan to address potential risks and mitigating controls

• Reporting to AD under CE, Team of 6 under Community Engagement Team (Comprises of Comm & Fundraising Team)
• As an Executive in the Community Engagement team, you will be responsible for conceptualising, planning and executing campaigns, events and activities to achieve the fundraising objectives.
• Besides having excellent communication skills, initiative and inventiveness, you should also be adept at project management & execution
• You will be part of a team charged with advancing the interests of the organization through active and effective engagement with its diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in fundraising/sales/marketing in a non-profit organisation and passion for the cause of palliative care.

Responsibilities

- Plan, manage, execute and evaluate fundraising campaigns, events and activities

- Assist to research, identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors/sponsors/partners and prospects

- Support the work of the Community Engagement team

- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders on the execution of campaigns, events and activities

- Any other relevant tasks assigned by reporting manager(s)

• Min Diploma or Degree in related discipline
• Min 2 to 3 years of fundraising experience
