About the role:

We are rapidly growing, ever-evolving, and seeking new teammates to join us. This role reports to the Product Director and will take charge of the management of a category of hardware products. We are in search for an experienced Product Manager in Air-conditioning/Displays/Home appliances categories for our products.

As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, commercialization, operationalisation and drive the growth of your product category. You are involved full product lifecycle management which includes define requirements based on customer feedback, market trends, market research, and business goals. You will work closely and support cross functional teams and our partners, and become the point of coordination for ensuring the products deliver the best value and experience for our customers. You will need to be able to build strong rapport, be curious, meticulous and have solid technical competency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute go-to-market strategy by taking into consideration of the global view. e.g.: opportunities and target customers, initial development of the positioning, value proposition, pricing framework as well as initial capacity plans).
• Source, build and maintain relationships with our partners, working closely to design and manufacturer new product models.
• You would be required to lead and drive product development, conducting consumer and market research, define product requirements, lead and drive product launches, developing and maintaining user manuals and manage product roadmaps and timelines.
• Partner with software development on the product requirements and oversee smart home integration for the product category.
• Identify and prioritize new product opportunities for the product category, based on market trends, customer needs and competitive analysis.
• Work with marketing to monitor and drive product success.
• Drive innovation within product area with industry trends and best practices.
• Ensure senior management are up to date with reports and communication on the progress of the product category.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline e.g., Management, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering or Finance.
• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant working experience in B2B product management experience with ability to independently lead the agenda.
• No fear of the unknown. You have to be an analytical self-starter, comfortable with complete uncertainty as we look to venture into new product lines or models. You need to be able to dive in and test all angles without supervision.
• Data driven. You need to be able to structure, quantify and qualify information on product research, and present this to stakeholders explaining the logic. Comfort with spreadsheet software and data modelling is essential.
• Strong Business acumen – Understanding of the wider environment within which our business operates and implications of e.g., trends / shifts in sustainability and consumer perception, brand owners’ opportunity & challenges, and being able to drive actionable insights and articulate what products/services to offer to accelerate profitable growth.
• Detailed oriented with strong project management skills on multi-market projects
• Excellent communication skills in English is a must, with a strong preference for candidates with the ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese at a Business level.
