Job Description
· Matters related to donations, e.g. obtain information from donors / team members, data entry of donor particulars, and issuance of tax deduction receipts / thank you letters to donors.
· Matters related to grants / project funding applications and monitoring, e.g. monitoring of usage and balance, regular updates and providing information to team members and donors.
· Matters related to bank accounts, e.g. reconciliation of bank statements, monitor of cash flow and movements, change of bank signatories.
· Matters related to Board and regulators, e.g. collecting signatures for Board resolutions, updating of Charity Portal, etc.
· Maintain proper filing of finance and admin records e.g. stock of groceries / vouchers and donations to facilitate year-end audit process. Assist with internal and external audits.
· Provide secretarial support for general corporate admin work such as applications for staff training, centre equipment, and other paperwork processes.
· Regularly review SOPs, work processes and templates, software and equipment, to ensure that they remain relevant and optimised to achieve the desired outcomes for the team and organisation.
· Guide and manage the Finance team members and outsource vendors.
· Other duties as assigned by the CEO.

· Organised, detail-oriented, thorough, and meticulous.
· Able to work both in a team environment and independently, coordinate and liaise with multiple parties, ranging from individuals to large organisations.
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet timelines.
· Self-motivated and goal-orientated.
Qualifications
· Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related business discipline.
· Professional qualification in CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
Experience
· Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and finance roles with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
· Experience in overseeing statutory audits, compliance reporting and working with both auditors.
· Prior experience in non-profit organisations, grant management and financial system implementation preferred but not a must.
Key Competencies

· Ability to prepare detailed and accurate financial statements, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring timely reporting.
· Familiar with Charities Accounting Standards.
