• Lead a dedicated team responsible for managing accident repairs, ensuring that damaged buses are repaired according to safety and quality standards, while liaising with traffic police, surveyors, accident investigation teams, Claims department, and insurers where necessary.
• Lead a team to ensure that all workshop equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Schedule regular maintenance and inspections to prevent downtime and ensure that all equipment remains safe for use. Ensure that the equipment meets regulatory requirements.
• Manage the regular checks on Workshop processes and bus maintenance adhere to defined procedures and checklists. Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement strategies to maintain high standards
• Oversee the training and certification of workshop staff, ensuring they are equipped with up-to-date skills and knowledge on vehicle technology, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Be familiar with the training, qualifications, and authorization to ensure all staff are adequately trained and authorized to support maintenance requirements such as OEM Training, National Electric Vehicle Specialist Safety (NESS), Work-At-Height etc.
• Any ad-hoc jobs as per assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the automotive industry
• Good knowledge in electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems of both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric buses preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and best practices.
• Experience with vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostics.
• Good fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of Diagnostic Software packages.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
