Job Description

· Generate month end closing reports for Singapore and report to your supervisor

· Prepare GST reporting and submission

· Able to generate on Annual Report, XBRL submission and Tax computation

· Review of internal control on a Monthly basis

· Prepare monthly cash flow projection

· Update daily cash flow

· Update weekly liquidity statements on cash projections on receipts and payments

· Check and Verify on Sales Revenue key by Sales Team, Especially on GST and also highlight the potential errors.

· Prepare yearly Budget and consolidation of data received.

· Perform financial analysis for budget review

· Prepare monthly payroll, CPF submission, and other HR submissions, i.e. Government grants

· Annual IR8A submission and IR21 submission for foreign workers

Position requirements:

· At least 3 years experience in Accounting including some auditing experience preferred

· Experience in handling accounting for E-commerce company in Singapore preferred

· Hands-on Experience with accounting software preferably Odoo and Quickbook

· Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel such as vlookup, pivot table

· Good Knowledge of SFRS reporting standards

· Meticulous, possess good interpersonal skills and is a team player

Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to CFO/COO, the duties and responsibilities are:

Accounting setting:

 AP bookkeeping in XERO (vendors, editorial contributors, staff claims etc.)

 GST computation and filling for GIRO (you have to know the procedure)

 Payroll computation

 Processing all payments (uploading to the bank for approval according to the weekly payment

plan)

 Preparing year-end report along with the Company Secretary and filling to IRAS/ACRA on time

 Full accounting service for affiliated companies: Vogue Foundation and SMTH Else Studio

 Bank reconcile

 Ad hock accounting tasks: auditing, cooperation with Company Secretary, intercompany

transactions, requests to the bank etc

Financial management:

 Keep updated the in-house invoice tracker on daily basis

 Communicate with vendors and keep them posted about the payments

 Communicate with team members regarding payment

 Design weekly payment plan based on invoice tracker and collections forecast prepared by AR

accountant (the company has 1 weekly fixed payment date on each Thursday)

 Participating in budgeting processes

 Weekly status meeting with CFO/COO: 1-2 times per week to discuss payments

 Make sure all records are correlated to the correct cost-centre in XERO

 Working closely with group financial controller and AR accountant to maintain monthly

management report

 Being team-player to support other finance team members when they are on leave

Requirements:

 Degree in Accountancy / Finance or CA/CPA

 Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting

 Must be a XERO-savvy accountant

 Proficient in MS Excel is a must

 Well-organized, demonstrate a high level of attention to detail

 Independent, meticulous

 Self-driven and able to work within tight deadlines and under pressure from vendors

 Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

 Commercially minded

Administrative Duties:

Manage daily office operations, including office supplies, equipment, and facilities management.

Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and postal mail.

Maintain and update company records, files, and databases.

Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for meetings.

Accounting Duties:

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.

Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.

Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Manage payroll processing, including timesheet verification and salary disbursement.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure adherence to accounting policies, standards, and procedures.

Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for audits.

Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Support for Construction Projects:

Track and report on project expenses and budgets.

Assist in the preparation of project cost reports and financial forecasts.

Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate financial documentation.

Customer and Vendor Relations:

Liaise with clients, vendors, and subcontractors regarding payments, invoices, and financial queries.

Address and resolve any financial discrepancies or issues promptly.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, MYOB, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and payroll processing.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

Office-based role with occasional site visits.

Standard working hours, with possible overtime during peak periods.
