Art Wonderland is a children's art studio, located in Bugis. We are looking for a passionate individual to join our team of creative art educators. If you are enthusiastic, bubbly, warm, approachable and enjoy working with children, you're in the right place!

Responsibilities

• To commit weekly on weekdays and/or Saturday/ Sunday mornings and afternoons conducting a holistic art programme for children aged 2.5 - 11 years old (1.5 - 4 hrs/ day)
• Involves working weekly for classes and events (priority given to those who can work weekend shifts)
• Explore and conceptualise groundbreaking art programmes

We are looking for an art educator that:

• Loves to work with children and seeks to inspire them
• Is creative and takes risks, but also well prepared for any situations that arises in the classroom
• Who agrees with the values and benefits of inquiry-based discussions during art lessons to bring out the creative thinkers in children
• Seeks out new topics and subjects to turn into a lesson to share with children
• Looking to be surrounded by other creatives that believe strongly in art education and bringing art closer to children and parents

Essential Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in either Early Childhood / Art Education or Teaching / Fine Arts
• At least 1 year of teaching and interacting with children aged 2 - 12 years old
• Must love to work with children and comfortable speaking to an audience
• Must have experience with traditional art mediums
• A plus if you are familiar with contemporary art!

Art Gallery Assistant/ Manager

Requirements:

• Highly organised, able to work independently, with a keen attention to detail.
• Good organising skills
• Work on weekends
• Enjoy art and events

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the curator/ operation manager in providing opportunities for emerging artists to work with the gallery, curating new exhibitions and managing its existing collections
• Carrying out exhibition-specific research and adminstrating events, making direct contact with artists and event organisers
• Gaining insight into the process behind gallery maintenance
• Supporting daily tasks including email, producing invoices and contracts, cataloguing and archive management
• Understand the packing and transport process of artworks
• Preparing artworks for client or gallery viewings including installing artworks and preparing viewing space
• Contribute to the marketing and promotion of collections, exhibitions and activities
• Generating new online content for websites, social media and digital platforms, developing writing, communication and digital skills
• Curate digital contents for company's social media platforms
