• Responsible for resolving valid and/or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.

• Responsible for resolving invalid and/or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures.

• To reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

• Prepare and submit reports including Balance sheet, P&L to the management.

• Payroll preparation

• Coordinate with external auditors for audit & taxation purpose

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, ACCA or equivalent.

• Min 2 year of relevant working experience in accounting

• Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel, meticulous with numbers and detail oriented.

What will you do

• Prepare and maintain financial reports and accounting records in accordance with corporate guidelines, corporate timelines and local statutory requirements
• Manage the full spectrum of the accounting functions, including payables and receivables, fixed assets management, general ledger, and cash flow management
• Prepare monthly journal and balance sheet reconciliations, checking and ensuring proper accounting treatment, completeness, and accuracy
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
• Assist in the preparation of the quarterly GST report and review annual tax returns
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties (e.g. external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities) where required
• Collaborating with stakeholders to seek for continuous improvements in internal processes
• Support finance team on ad-hoc tasks and projects.

• Review accrual journals for month-end and year-end closing, adhering to the timeline provided by institution.
• Supervise, train and manage staff including setting of KPIs and conducting appraisal sessions.
• Review work processes to promote efficiency and to strengthen internal control procedures.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Intercompany Accounting or General Ledger function, and overseeing an accounts team in a supervisory or managerial capacity
• Experience in SAP is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
