Job Title: Assistant Financial Controller

Job description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the group. As an Assistant Financial Controller, you will work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, analysis, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or its equivalent.
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification preferred.
• More than 10 years of relevant work experience . Experience in the real estate industry is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills .Able to make decisions and proactive.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, statutory & regulatory requirements.
• Conduct Financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Manage cashflow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls, policies and procedures, and ensure alignment and compliance.
• Monitoring the annual budgets and operating forecasts.
• Handle Tenancy Agreements and Legal Documents.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, legal counsel, bankers, and relevant government authorities.
• Assisting the Financial Controller in managing the acquisition due diligence process.
• Any ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures. Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information. Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data. Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers, and/or computers. Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables. Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified. Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
