DESCRIPTION

This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and Project Director. Junior Cost Controller supports the cost control functions of the project by assisting in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates during the bidding phase. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will be responsible for assisting in monitoring and controlling costs, ensuring that all costs are accurately tracked and reported.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the preparation the project budget and capital cost estimates.
• Help set up standard project account codes and establishment of Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), CBS and CTR Catalogue.
• Assist in transferring the project ‘as-sold’ budget information into a Project Cost Model (split according to the Breakdown Structure – WBS and time-phased).
• Coordinate with the other project functions to ensure compatibility with the Cost Control requirements and timely flow of information.
• Support the setup the systems and process that will allow a smooth gathering and compilation of commitment and cost information during project execution.

• Assist in Review cost commitment and expenditure information for all cost elements and ensuring that all information received is accurate and correctly recorded.

• Any Object-oriented language: Java, .Net
• Domain-Driven design and Microservices: springboot
• Any testing automation tools and frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Selenium).

Qualifications and Profile

• Junior level (0 to 3 years) experience in supporting capital market applications and trading systems, ideally within the dynamic landscape of Market Risk/Front Office operations.
• Master degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• ASIA (09:00 AM - 6:45 PM SGT), EMEA (05:00 PM - 02:00 AM SGT) & US (11:30 PM - 08:30 AM SGT)
