• Extensive deal structuring and credit experience across a multitude of sectors and exponent in various financing structures
• Seasoned credit professional with extensive experience and track record in taking credit decisions/views. Ability to work with semi-complete information, but sufficient (enough) to form a sound, well-grounded credit view in a fast-paced, quickly moving, fluid and highly compressed schedule
• Confident in expressing and communicating a credit opinion, including a negative recommendation
• Strong stakeholder management skills, getting their buy-in on credit recommendations (including the case when it is a negative recommendation)

As part of the Collection & Recovery Team, you will be responsible for handling outbound phone calls and negotiate payment with customers. You will need to achieve collection target set and follow up on arrears, respond to customer's enquiries on their accounts, responsible to monitor and manage delinquent accounts to achieve individual productivity standards with agreed KPIs and aligned to the overall collection goals.

Job Description

• Manage hardcore accounts to meet the performance targets in terms of amount recovered and prevention accounts from trigging to non-performing loan and written-off;
• Contact customers to negotiate repayment and drive service standards;
• provide for appropriate remedial actions including reviewing the accounts with appropriate and effective legal actions for recovery of debt and minimize the losses;
• Negotiate with debtors for acceptable repayment plans and composite payments;
• Resolve customer issues or complaints within stipulated timeframe;

Requirement

• A good degree with at least 3-5 years of experience in high volume retail collection;
• Good knowledge in collections, legal procedures and litigation process;

Responsibilities:

• Lead credit risk management initiatives for designated departments/countries, overseeing credit line implementation.
• Conduct regular customer meetings to address deferred collection requests and conduct internal credit risk training sessions.
• Prepare and present periodic reports, including "Over Credit/Past Due reports," and monitor collateral.
• Manage commodity and FX positions for the company and its affiliates.
• Provide supervision and guidance to team members within business and corporate departments on credit lines.
• Proactively manage daily credit risk and provide strategic guidance to optimize profitability.
• Develop and implement reporting and monitoring mechanisms for comprehensive risk management.
• Monitor collateral validity, guarantees, and market trends, offering proactive risk mitigation solutions.
• Identify market relationships and anomalies to provide a competitive advantage and drive informed decisions.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide logistical support for projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
• Minimum 3 years of credit risk management experience.
• Strong knowledge and skills in credit risk.
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Interest in Market risk (Forex risk & Commodity risk).
