Roles & Responsibilities:
- Uphold and support Centre’s philosophy in infant care and development.
- Conduct professional practices in line with guidelines set in ECDA’s Early Years Development Framework.
- Work in partnership with parents to foster holistic and positive development in infants.
- Design and implement lessons plans / activities based on Centre’s curriculum.
- Reflect and document evaluations of lessons.
- Monitor & document growth and development progress of infants in prescribed forms.
- Be actively involved in the infant care routines so as to be able to coordinate and assist in the management of workflow.
- Provide mentorship to Infant Care teachers to maintain quality curriculum and infant care services.
- Maintain proper and up-to-date documentation / recordings / data entry.
- Exemplary management and leadership skills are essential.
- Liaise closely with the Principal on any matters concerning student development, performance or behaviour that are of concern.
- Supports the school in festivals and events preparations.
- Execute daily routine in accordance with the time schedule.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Certification in Infant / Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certification in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
- Candidates who are currently pursuing certified courses may also apply.
- Ability to engage children and deal with them in a positive and caring manner.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills.
