Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations such as:

• Provide customer service including registration/screening of patients, queue management, preparation and dispensing of medications, invoicing, and collection of payment.
• Answer inquiries from patients and others via phone calls, messages, and emails while rendering excellent patient care and customer service.
• Perform and/or assist the doctor in minor surgical procedures and aesthetic procedures.
• Work in a team with the rest of the staff to ensure that the clinic environment is clean and welcoming for patients
• Administrative duties such as claims submissions and other forms of paperwork

Requirements

• No medical experience required
• Comfortable with technology, computer applications, and modern software
• Applicants with phlebotomy skills, wound management experience, or nursing certification will have an added advantage
• Able to work 5.5 days / 44 hours per week (1 weekend off)

Oversee the overall day-to-day operations of Senior Care Centre. Accountable for the maintenance of a safe environment for all clients, staff, and visitors. Ensure consistent delivery of excellent service quality to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full aspects of the daily centre operation.
• Ensure the client’s welfare & safety are well taken care of in the centre.
• Oversee the admission/discharge, assessment and overall care delivered to clients.
• Track clients’ outcomes and satisfaction.
• Provide regular updates of client’s medical and functional conditions to the caregiver.
• Plan and review activities programmes for clients and supervise the running of programmes that cater to needs and interests of seniors.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders in conducting meaningful activities to engage clients.
• Organize and conduct multidisciplinary meeting to ensure holistic care of clients.
• Manage transport fleet and ensure operational efficiency.
• Manpower Management and Development. Plan & manage Senior Care Centre staff duty roster.
• Provide overall operational leadership and supervision for centre staff.
• Promote a learning culture by supporting staff in upgrading their skills and knowledge through training and courses. Identify staff training / development needs.
• Ensure facilities, equipment and assets are in good working condition with scheduled servicing and maintenance
• Responsible for proper management of resources which is cost effective, meet quality and productivity.
• Conduct Risk Management Assessments to ensure centres provide safe care by analysing incidents and implementing solutions to reduce incidents.
• Responsible for incident management reporting, timely escalation, and resolution where possible.
• Ensure that the Centre is running in compliance with the requirements stipulated by MOH, government agencies and all other relevant authorities.
• Review & update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on a timely basis in line with MOH service requirements. Ensure the centre is ready for service audits.
• Propose / implement measures to enhance continuous quality improvement.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and client engagement.
• Manage feedback and complaints from clients, caregivers, visitors and staff.
• Collaborate with external partners to promote community engagement.
• Engage and orientate volunteers from interest groups, organized groups, agencies, institutions, or individuals.
• Review and approve volunteers’ programmes according to guidelines / requirements.

2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1 Primary Responsibilities and Duties (90%)

2.1.1 Provide psycho-social support for patients and their families through case management, counselling, financial assessment and recommend resources where necessary.

2.1.2 Participate in the development of the care plan and assist staff members in understanding the significant social and emotional factors related to clients’ health problems.

2.1.3 Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members/caregivers to determine appropriate care plan.

2.2 Secondary Responsibilities and duties (10%)

2.2.1 Any other ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisor.

3. JOB SPECIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

3.1 Qualifications and Experience

3.1.1. Diploma/Degree in Social Work.

3.1.2. Registered with Singapore Association of Social Workers.

3.1.3. Minimum 2 years working experience in healthcare/ILTC sector preferred.

3.1.4. Familiar with health care system to liaise with various government agencies preferred.

3.2 Abilities and Attributes

3.2.1. Ability to speak local dialects is necessary.

Job Summary

Provide day care services to the clients attending the Day Care and Dementia Care Centre, by assisting in their personal care and activities of daily living to ensure comfort and safety of the individual in accordance with the standards of St. Andrew’s Senior Care, and maintaining a clean, orderly and safe environment for the clients and assisting the clients in personal care and activities of daily living.

Job Description

• Porter clients (between drop-off point and centre, to and fro the gym for rehabilitation session).
• Help clients settle down upon arrival at the centre.
• See to the dietary needs of clients by serving meals to them and supervising their consumption.
• Supervise and/or assist clients in the various activities
• Assist clients who are require minimal supervision during toileting.
• Assist clients to settle down for a nap after lunch.
• Assist in the mobility of clients.
• Porter clients to and from Rehabilitation sessions.
• Conduct group programmes and activities for the clients under the supervision of the therapists.
• Participate in inservice training programmes designed and catered for upgrading of the staff.
• Be familiar with the fire evacuation route of the centre and safe management measures of the centre.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Carry out other duties as assigned from time to time.
