Responsibilities:
1. Supervision & Safety:
Ensure the safety and well-being of students during care hours, including monitoring activities and managing behavior.
2. Academic Support:
Assist students with homework, revision, and other academic tasks.
3. Activity Planning:
Organize and conduct recreational, enrichment, and character-building activities to engage students meaningfully.
4. Communication:
Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress, behavior, and any concerns.
5. Administrative Tasks:
Record attendance, manage program schedules, and ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines.
6. Environment Maintenance:
Keep the student care center clean, organized, and conducive to learning and recreation.Deliver the Mi Buzz Student Care Programme and activities developed by our in-house curriculum specialist.
7. Attend to any operational issues:
Address operational personnel concerns related to School Care service and curriculum.
Requirements:
• Experience:
Prior experience in teaching or caring for children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Language Skills:
Proficiency in English. Proficiency in additional languages such as Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil is advantageous.
• Passion:
Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with children and promoting their holistic development.
• Communication:
Exhibit excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English. Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience:
Display patience and empathy when dealing with children of varying ages and needs.
• Team Collaboration:
Work effectively within a collaborative team environment, supporting colleagues and sharing responsibilities.
