You will be deployed to customer site and develop and maintain a comprehensive onboarding program to onboard new System(s) onto the Customer’s existing Cloud Platform and Infrastructure. You will need to provide full support to the new System(s) and resolve all risks and issues for a successful onboarding experience.

• Lead the onboarding process for new projects and internal teams onto our cloud platform and infrastructure
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive onboarding program, including documentation and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure aligned expectations and requirements.
• Conduct discovery sessions with onboarding project teams to understand their needs and configure the platform accordingly.
• Manage the onboarding process, including provisioning, configuration, and testing.
• Provide support to ensure successful adoption and usage.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks or issues, escalating when necessary.
• Continuously monitor and improve the onboarding process, incorporating feedback and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide a monthly progress update to Customer which includes

1. Summary of onboarding activities
2. Progress against KPIs
3. Identification of risks and mitigation plans
4. Recommendations for process improvements

• Lead the team of system, network, database and security engineers in maintaining the existing infrastructure which includes

1. Ensuring high availability and uptime of the infrastructure resources
2. Performing routine maintenance, upgrades and patching
3. Monitoring and troubleshooting system infrastructure issues
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues
5. Optimizing system performance and efficiency
   

Qualities We Value

• Minimum 2 to 4 years IT experience.
• Past working experience in Cloud environment is an advantage.
• Excellent scheduling and multitasking skills
• Meticulous and process oriented.
• Good analytical skills with ability to work with others to resolve problems.

The Head of Cloud Professional Services is responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals who provide consulting, implementation, and support services related to cloud technologies, encompassing both public and private cloud services.

This role involves overseeing project delivery, client relationships, the overall success of the cloud professional services department, and the management of Project Managers and Technical Service Managers. Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and Red Hat technologies is essential.

The position also requires engagement and collaboration with local partners and offshore development centers.

Cloud Strategy

• Develop and implement cloud strategies for clients, considering their specific compliance, security, and regulatory requirements for both public and private cloud environments.
• Provide guidance on cloud adoption, migration, and optimization across public and private cloud platforms.

Project Management

• Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery for cloud projects (public and private) to ensure they meet compliance and security standards, are on time, and within budget.
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Service Quality

• Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction for cloud-related projects
• Establish and enforce cloud service standards and best practices, including compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., FedRAMP, MTCS for public cloud, and internal security standards for private cloud).

Team Management

• Manage Project Managers and Technical Service Managers, providing guidance and support in project execution and technical service delivery.
• Monitor and optimize resource allocation to ensure project success.

Financial Management

• Utilize financial experience to drive services revenue, improve margins, and enhance profitability for the cloud professional services department, covering both public and private cloud projects.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve departmental goals.

Cloud Practice Development

• Leverage experience in developing and growing a cloud practice within the organization.
• Establish and execute strategies for expanding the cloud professional services offering.

Technical Expertise

• Stay updated with cloud technologies, trends, and best practices across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, Hashicorp and Red Hat technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team and clients for cloud solutions on these platforms.

Technology Stack Expertise

• Possess familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and Red Hat technologies to ensure effective cloud solutions.

Collaboration

• Work closely with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration on cloud-related initiatives, whether public or private.

Partner and Offshore Collaboration
