What’s the role?

In this "Coach/Player" role, you are responsible for leading, motivating and developing the team who provide the implementation services for all our Enterprise Data clients in the Asia Pacific.

The Role

As a Master Data Management and Governance Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and governance of critical data assets within the organization. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires a strong understanding of data management principles, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across various departments to drive data governance initiatives forward.

Responsibilities we will trust you with:

• Lead the Master Data Organisation in designing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive data governance framework that aligns with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Define Data Standards and Policies: Work with across the organization to establish data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity across all data assets.
• Data Quality Management: Define data quality metrics and develop implementation strategies to improve data quality throughout its lifecycle.
• Master Data Management (MDM): Lead the master data management team, including the creation, maintenance, and enrichment of master data records.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and compliance, to understand data requirements, address issues, and promote data governance best practices.
• Data Stewardship: Define and Assign roles and responsibilities for data stewardship and establish processes for data stewardship activities, such as data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards. Identify and mitigate risks associated with data governance processes.
• Training and Awareness: Create learning programs and Conduct training sessions and awareness programs to educate employees on data governance principles, policies, and procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine data governance processes to adapt to evolving business needs and technological advancements.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience (1-5 years) in data governance, master data management, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Experience with data governance software/platforms is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Primary Objectives;

• To grow and boost Treasury’s Revenue and Franchise growth
• Networking with Correspondent Banks to identify business opportunities, and to promote cross referral businesses.
• Market to foreign/domestic correspondent banks to grow Treasury’s business/product lines
• Management of Correspondent Banking Relationship including Nostro/Vostro Accounts
• To assist Group FI in Singapore Branch’s FI relationship with Global Banks
• To assist Treasury in building relationship to obtain stable funding
• To provide new FI solutions/products to Treasury/Branch
• To conduct initial and regular due diligence/AML/Related/Connected Party screenings for Treasury’s FI/NBFI/vendors
• To manage/maintain Treasury’s static data in systems (as assign)
• Any other ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned by Head of Treasury

Key Responsibilities;

FI Relationship Management

• Manage FI Relationship & promote Treasury products & cross referral business to gain incremental revenue income

• Conduct meetings and discuss with FI/NBFI relationship managers for prospective business opportunities
• Establish close relationship and improve counterparty networking to obtain sufficient Treasury lines
• To provide new FI products/solutions for Treasury/Branch
• To liaise with GFI in establishment of RMA/banking lines
• Manage issues relating to FATCA CRS, Audit & Compliance

Financial Perspective

• Explore and market to banks globally to setup partnership to boost Treasury and HO’s business opportunities
• Cross sell of existing Treasury/FI Products to generate and increase revenue
• Identify opportunities with agent banks to target business growth
• Support the Department/Division Head in the delivery of banking services to meet the Department/Division’s revenue targets. 

FI Support and Advisory

• Provide support /advisory role Treasury and Branch on queries relating to international FI business
• Provide FI solutions and support from agent banks for their international payment, trade and treasury support requirements

Customers / Client Coverage

• Build and maintain effective relationships with correspondent banks/NBFIs to understand their needs in order to provide a high quality of service.
• Build new relationships and identify new target markets to grow Treasury and GFI’s services/products
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both internally and externally
• Negotiate with correspondent banks on matters with regards to services fees and pricing, as well as seek solutions to finalize new/potential business transactions.

Acts as the first-line problem solving reference point, addressing computer operations / batch operation issues as they occur and escalating problems – You will serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving computer operations issues, provide immediate support and escalate problems as necessary to ensure timely resolution.

Supervise the development and implementation of new procedures to improve computer operations and efficiency – You will lead the development and implementation of new procedures to enhance the efficiency of computer operations while ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.

Drive daily huddles with team members to review work assignments and project tasks, set priorities, and communicate issues – You will conduct daily huddles with team members to review ongoing work assignments and project tasks by setting priorities and provide clear guidance on expectations and deliverables

Regional collaboration for computer operations to determine current state and potential for synergistic operations – You will collaborate with regional teams to assess current service levels and identify areas for improvement by gathering feedback and requirements to enhance the quality and efficiency of computer operations.

Develop and enhance new/existing documentation and procedures for key activities and processes – You will develop comprehensive documentation and procedures for activities and contribute to the development of department-wide standards and policies.

Ensure batch operations checklists are maintained for operational status and problem history – You will provide oversight by maintaining and updating batch operations checklists to track operational status and ensure incoming shifts have a comprehensive understanding of operational history.

Coordinate the Data Center scheduled shutdown with all related business unit to ensure completeness of the activity – You will coordinate and plan the data centre scheduled shutdown activities by collaborating with all related business units to ensure a smooth and complete shutdown to minimize disruptions and ensure successful execution.

Qualification Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in data center operations, with a managerial or supervisory role is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of data center batch operations, computer systems, and networking technologies.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience in SQL and R/ Python (Or other tools for statistical analysis) and data visualization tools for statistical reporting is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in UI/UX design principles and methodologies.
• Experience in designing user-friendly interfaces and enhancing user experience.
• Ability to translate complex information into intuitive and visually appealing infographics.

Working Experience/Skills:

• Proven experience in driving automation and process improvement using Python.
• Hands-on experience with Python libraries and frameworks such as NumPy, Pandas, or Django.
• Have a strong sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success.
• Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage issues that surface over the course of work quickly and efficiently.
• Be a team player with excellent consultative and communication skills, proven ability to work effectively with internal and external IT/non-IT stakeholders, vendors, and consultants.
• Knowledge and working experience with an understanding in data centre key operation functions, including enterprise reporting, enterprise scheduling, data centre operations and data centre facilities management, would be a plus.

Under the general direction the Nursing Director and with oversight from the Executive Director of Business Operations, the Operations Manager is responsible for a variety of supervisory, administrative, and financial non-nursing functions.

The Operations Manager has responsibility for Service, Operations/Finance, Data Management, Personnel Management, Materials Management and Equipment, Quality Control and Data Collection and Reporting.

As a lead member of the Patient Care Team, the Operations Manager is responsible for responding to need of patients and family members and takes a proactive role in the efficient operation of the unit.

This role will also be responsible for the coordination and monitoring of schedules, payroll, patient classification, and other systems to support the patient care unit.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities:

Service:

• As a member of the Patient Care Team, the Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that the patient and family members are attended to in a professional manner.
• The Operations Manager is responsible for responding to the needs of the patient/family members in a timely manner and maintains a professional and friendly demeanour at all times.
• As a lead member of this team, the Operations Manager is also responsible that other members of the team are responding to the needs of patients and families in a timely and professional manner.
• The Operations Manager will work cohesively as a member of the Patient Care Team, and will take a proactive role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the unit.
• Maintains service standards, with particular attention to personal/ behavioral, staff teamwork, and patient-staff interaction guidelines.

Operations And Finance:

• Works cooperatively with the Director and Finance Manager to develop and maintain systems for collecting information to measure unit (s) of productivity.
• Monitors management report expenditure, reports findings to Director and initiates plan as appropriate.
• Assists with the collection and analysis of budget information
• Completes weekly payroll (s) and enters data for schedules and actual staffing into Staff system.
• Maintains Patient Classification system daily.
• Maintains staff records (i.e. use of sick time, FMLA, per diems, time schedules, staff turnover, license renewal, in-services/competencies, educational records.
• Meets with Executive Director of Business Operations on a frequent basis and as needed to ensure consistency of processes.

Data Management:

• Manages relevant databases, promotes security of information along with maintaining and auditing data to ensure quality control of systems.
• Primary systems include scheduling, payroll, and patient classification.
• Develops and maintains systems to ensure confidentiality and integrity of patient record in compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards.
• Contributes to the development of policies, procedures and systems which assure the effective operational functioning of the unit.
• Produces and maintains management data related to the operational needs and projects.

Human Resources:

• Supervises the daily activities of the Unit Coordinator to ensure optimum performance.
• Oversees the maintenance of confidential personnel, changes of status, terminations and personnel requisitions.
• Ensures completion of Annual Infection Control, Fire and Safety, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements and maintains records.
• Participates in hiring, terminating, and performance evaluations of unit coordinators and other personnel as directed.
• Schedules unit coordinators time and approves changes, as appropriate.
• Oversees and/or coordinates department orientation.
• Supports Staff as a resource in information systems.

Materials Management/Equipment:

• Coordinates and maintains systems for: (a) control group of inventory levels: (b) outside purchasing of supplies and equipment and capital equipment.
• Establishes and maintains levels of regular supply items
• Keeps audit trail of equipment ordered and received.
• Ensures that equipment is safe and in proper working condition in coordination with other departments.
• Maintains accurate inventory of equipment essential to unit.
• Collaborates with Patient Care team in obtaining information/planning on new products/technology; facilitates the introduction of new equipment/supplies.
• Generates and submits operating and capital budget requests based on the unit/patient care needs in conjunction with appropriate resources.

Quality:

• Collaborates with Director to keep unit regulatory ready, demonstrating knowledge of regulatory guidelines and ability to participate in unit quality programs.
• Participates in quality improvement projects.
• Member of Safety Committee, as assigned.

Other Duties:

• Assists Director (s) in creating and implementing systems with filing and distribution of information (i.e. policy changes, announcements, staff meeting minutes and maintains bulletin boards, email lists, and manuals.)
• Completes special projects. Develops and participates in projects to enhance operations.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• Min Degree in a related field from a recognized university
• Min 5-10 years experience in clinical operations
• Excellent communication skills is a must
• Good management skills of team
