This position reports to the Group Engineering Manager and is part of the OMS Engineering Team. OMS Engineering department supports all the product lines of OMS and is responsible to design and define the specifications for the products.

Individual to be involved in:

1. Designing, calculating and drafting of product

2. Defining the product specifications and creating Bill of Material.

3. Testing and validating the products.

4. Supports all technical enquiry and problems.

Technical skills and competencies

1. Drafting skills - Draftsight (2D) and Solidworks (3D)

2. ERP Systems - Oodo System

3. Product Knowledge

4. Technical Calculating Ability

5. Project Management and effective communication Skills

Duration of Attachment is 6 months

Summary:

• Basic up to $2200 - $3800
• 5 days office hours

Job Scope:

• Generate and create design sketches based on customer drawings, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and related data.
• Validate and authenticate design drawings for adherence to customer specifications and design data.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales/Project and Engineering departments to ensure consistent coordination of design efforts.
• Examine final production drawings for accuracy and alignment with established electrical standards and regulations.
• Validate Material Requisition Orders against production drawings.
• Aid M&E consultants and contractors in designing modifications, alterations, and additions for the site.
• Showcase and explain the criteria behind our product designs and solutions.
• Deliver prompt technical support and solutions as needed.

Requirements:

• Possess Diploma/ degree in Electrical Engineering
• Candidates with relevant experience is a plus
