Creative Director

The Creative Director (CD) will lead the creative team to develop creative Brand activation concepts for our clients. Reporting to the Director of activation, the CD will lay the strategic & creative foundation of the clients’ brand engagement campaigns with comprehensive insights on trends and opportunities to offer original and unique brand activation solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Creative thinker who generates ideas and solutions to deliver impactful experiences, to captivate audience and possibly viral and generate talkabout
• Play a key role in driving creative direction, strong creative concept development, design and proposal development
• Direct and lead the creative team in production of creative designs and supporting design/execution elements that are efficient and productive
• Push the creative boundaries and establish creative standards whilst ensuring that clients’ activation objectives are met
• Will be accountable for design and creative works revenue performance
• Support new business development
• Must be willing to travel to overseas for projects pitching and meetings, particularly China as we have an office in Shanghai

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-6 years working in agencies with relevant work experience focused in events field/business, in similar/relevant position
• Relevant degree in the communications, marketing or design
• Good knowledge of web and digital application
• Energetic and creative disposition and pioneer ideations to existence through good team-play
• Good network with direct clients

Coopers Hill is looking for design focused Design Director (Softscape) to join our office in Asia. Landscape Architects (Softscape) / Horticulturist are key members of our creative team, actively involved in a diverse range of local and international projects.

Responsibilities:

• Creative candidate who is capable of oversee all aspects of softscape design within the company
• Ability to lead design teams, setting design strategies, ensuring design consistency
• Demonstrates creative thinking abilities and contributes to firm wide design excellence and providing creative direction
• Collaboration with other departments, managing team’s workload
• Responsible for ensuring quality and effectiveness of design output
• Proficiency in delivering presentations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture or equivalent, with 8 to 10 years or more of experience in a professional landscape architectural design service firm
• Excellent knowledge of tropical and sub-tropical plant materials and experienced in Planting Design
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of design quality and consistency
• Experience in project management with ability to deliver projects on time and within budget constraints
• Applicants with less experience who can demonstrate exceptional design skill and leadership will also be considered
