Job Description

• Understanding of Project Specifications, construction drawings and to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and client’s requirements
• Monitor site works to ensure the method statements and work procedure are strictly followed.
• Competent in carrying out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor’s work site
• Ensure the Builder (incl. technical supervisors) executes the work in accordance to Consultant’s instructions
• Check drawings for discrepancies and highlight to Consultant, suggesting possible solutions to prevent delays
• Conduct quality inspections and quality control of materials used for the project
• To ensure proper documentation of site inspection records, safety records and approved /as-built drawings
• Maintaining and updating site records on progress of work, housekeeping and preparing reports
• Verify the contractors’ progress payment, claim in terms of work done and materials/equipment delivered and stored on site
• Witness all the inspection, testing and commissioning sessions performed by the contractors to ensure compliance with designs and specifications
• Report to project QP / Project Consultants Team on quality and progress
• Supervision of demolition of basement/foundation, ERSS construction and all other design works
• To manage & coordinate with the site supervisors (incl. RTO) with respect to C&S engineering works, architectural and M&E engineering works
• Possesses a complete understanding of local requirements, especially to comply with BCA's criteria for build-ability and safety assurance system
• To carry out regular site checks on Builder and ensure compliance on health and work safety in accordance with MOM
• To attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings.
• Period: 12 months
• Start from: January 2025

Requirements:

• min. Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in supervision of Hospital and Architecture work
• Resident Engineer Certificate accredited by IES / ACES is a must, candidate without RE certificate need not apply
• Conversant in statutory code and requirements
• Good team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills essential

Job Responsibilities:

• Pre-plan and prepare construction schedule, and coordinate activities.
• Follow up and report On-site and Off-site project management and progress.
• To prepare and submit progress reports as required by consultants and clients.
• Analyse project specifications, including civil/structural, architectural, and M&E drawings.
• Conduct thorough monitoring of construction work activities and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety meeting, site works and site reports.
• Coordinate, prepare and arrange site inspection with RE & RTO.
• Arrange daily Toolbox Meeting with Site Supervisor and WSHC and briefing on site activities and daily task. Arrange Site daily activities with Site Supervisor.
• Prepare necessary submission for project. Example, RFI, MS, RA, SWP, shop drawings and supporting documents preparation.
• To prepare and keep records, summary related to project. Maintain Project documents control for ISO purpose.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in infrastructural or marine construction industry with relevant project experiences in dredging, reclamation or near shore construction is a plus.
• Daily sea travel to island work site is mandatory.

The candidate is responsible for the end-to-end testing activities of an integrated e-payment system. The primary responsibilities would include carrying out the activities in the testing lifecycle including test planning, analyzing business and system requirements.

The candidate will also responsible:

• Preparing the test environment, designing, and developing the test
  cases.
• Preparing the test environment, executing the test procedures.
• Automating the test solution based on the system design using scripting or programming languages as well as performance tuning.
• Create traceability to requirements, analyze gaps and address them.
• Logging and tracking defects to closure
• Conducting test reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform root cause analysis for production and user acceptance defects, address test gaps to ensure test efficiency.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Engineering
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in executing testing and developing test automation solutions involving devices (UI-based or embedded) and/or back-office systems with familiarity on the full system development lifecycle from requirement, development, to testing and deployment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work well both independently as well as in a team.
• Certification in software testing preferred.
• Experience in Micro-payments systems and in diverse test execution phases (System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Performance testing) would be an advantage

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to manage and enhance supplier quality for thermal cooling solutions within the electronics and computing sectors. The role involves collaborating with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards, improving processes, and resolving quality-related issues.
