KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an individual who is passionate in Ethics & Compliance (“E&C”) areas, a team player with drive and has strong commercial sense to join us in the E&C corporate function as we enhance our E&C programme.
- Support the Head, E&C in establishment and implementation of groupwide E&C programme and activities.
- Be involved in the establishment of SATS Group’s compliance framework (including Code of ethics & business conduct and anti-bribery & anti-corruption policy) and formulation and implementation of compliance strategy for SATS Group.
- Be involved in the planning and conduct of internal reviews and internal audits on SATS Group’s Anti-Bribery Management System. Work collaboratively with Business Units in preparation of external audits, including ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System certification/ surveillance audits.
- Review ethics & compliance training materials and conduct training to stakeholders of various levels.
- Develop metrics for compliance dashboard to measure effectiveness of the various programs and support the Head, E&C in Board reporting.
- Be involved in facilitation and conduct of third party due diligence.
- Support the Head, E&C in development and implementation of new compliance initiatives, including formulation of new E&C policies and procedures and planning and running of activities.
- Manage projects that E&C is involved in and any other duties as assigned.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills Required
- A recognised degree in Accountancy, Law, Risk Management, Business Management, Finance, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 to 8+ years of relevant experience in Ethics, Compliance, Third Party Due Diligence, Fraud Risk Management/ Fraud Investigation, Internal Audits, External Audits and/or Risk Management. Candidates with strong background in Internal Audits or External Audits who are looking for a career shift to Ethics & Compliance are encouraged to apply.
- Having experience managing an Anti-Bribery Management System and possessing knowledge in the ISO 37001 certification process is an added advantage while not a must.
Non-Technical Skills/Soft Skills Required
- Willing to walk the ground and understand business concerns with regards to ethics & compliance.
- Able to work well independently and in team environment.
- Well organized, detail oriented, analytical, logical and yet with creative flair.
- Able to confidently and independently conduct E&C training and deliver presentations.
- With good verbal and written communication skills to deliver clear and concise guidance and instructions.
- Willing to extensively engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders when required
- Possess positive learning attitude and be willing to acquire new skills and knowledge, especially in areas of ethics & compliance.
- Having flexibility and ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- High resilience with strong determination to succeed and excel.
