Job Title : GST Assistant Manager / Manager (Account Department)

As a GST Assistant Manager, you will oversee and manage Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings in accordance with regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing GST returns, reconciling tax data, addressing audits and notices, and advising on GST implications for business transactions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with financial and legal standards while staying updated on evolving tax laws. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure the smooth running of GST team.
• Review GST Report.
• Review the accuracy of the tax schemes and the supporting documents of the transactions.
• Review Compilation of GST Report.
• E-filing of GST Return quarterly.
• Conduct GST training.
• Attend to customer’s query of GST compliance issues.
• Liaise with GST consultant.
• In-charge of GST schemes renewal and preparation of ASK and schedules for audit.
• Other responsibilities assigned by the Account Manager.

Requirements:

• Tax / GST field experience of 2-4 years.
• Able to demonstrate leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Oversee the comprehensive planning, design, procurement, and implementation of APM systems.
• Manage and coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Explore and incorporate the latest innovations and technologies to achieve a world-class APM system for Terminal 5.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

You will be required to perform the following:

• Overall, in-charge of the project with the support of other team members (Conference, logistics, admin, sales, marketing) to ensure the success of the event.
• Drive a sound business model and manage the budget for each edition of the event and to ensure expenditure is managed efficiently.
• Work with client to establish standing operating processes (SOP) for execution of event e.g., approval process, reporting requirements, schedule of meetings etc.
• Work with client to conceptualize, design and execute curated zones for the event
• Budget management will include:
• Propose a detailed financial budget and obtain approval from the client.
• Monitor revenue and expense to ensure that the overall event is performing well financially.
• Work with the Finance department on invoicing and account reconciliation matters for both pre-and post-event.
• Ensure that all expenses processed by both core and supporting functions/departments are in compliance with SOP.
• Coordinating the various committee meetings with client/stakeholders and attending meetings with the client/stakeholders on all progress updates of works done to the lead-up of each edition.
• Liaising with 3rd party contractors working e.g., venue provider, exhibition stand builder, etc, or any other providers contracted by client directly, to drive the overall success of the event.
• Incorporating the sustainability aspects of organising events and actively propose areas on how carbon footprint can be reduced.
• Should there is any direct or indirect issues e.g., venue or event production-related, during the contractual period, you shall be responsible to rectify these issues.
• Conduct and record meetings with client as and when required.
