Jacobs would like to hire a Project Manager focusing on climate-related coastal and drainage works, as part of our Water business based in the Singapore office. This role will manage a variety of coastal engineering projects specifically coastal structures, feasibility analysis, engineering designs and analyses, report preparation, managing permitting and stakeholders and construction engineering services; and support our linear infrastructure team to manage flood alleviation and drainage improvement projects.

Main responsibilities:

• Delivering engineering consultancy services as technical lead and/or project manager to achieve high client satisfaction.
• Manage coastal infrastructure, drainage improvement projects from planning to design, and implementation phases of projects.
• Developing focus client relationship management through the life cycle of projects; pursuing opportunities from first spark to award of contract, to successful project completion
• Leading detailed discussions to scope out client’s requirements and expectations through effective listening, summarizing, and questioning.
• Identifying and securing follow-on opportunities through the quality and value of our engineering and client services.
• Providing technical leadership and review of engineering consultancy services.
• Helping with the development of compelling proposals and presentations for engineering consultancy services.

To be a successful candidate you shall possess:

• Professional Engineer/Chartered Engineer of Civil Engineer of Coastal Engineering discipline.
• In-depth capability in coastal engineering.
• Awareness of climate change and sea level rise implications for coastal areas, and experience with consideration of same in coastal planning and design.
• More than 10 years experience in feasibility, planning, investigations, modeling, design, and construction of coastal engineering projects.
• High-level management/direction of projects with multi-disciplined design teams in coastal engineering across the region/ Singapore.
• Familiarity with all areas of coastal, maritime, and wider civil engineering practice and infrastructure development.
• Prior experience in working with PUB (Public Utilities Board) will be an added advantage.

Job Summary:

The Inflight Business Aviation Manager oversees all aspects of the inflight experience for business aviation clients, ensuring the highest levels of service, safety, and satisfaction. This role is responsible for managing the inflight crew, including pilots and flight attendants, as well as coordinating and maintaining all inflight operations for a fleet of business aircraft. The manager will collaborate with the flight operations, maintenance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inflight Operations Management:Manage the day-to-day inflight operations, including overseeing flight attendants, catering, and onboard service standards.

• Ensure the inflight team is stocked with appropriate supplies for each flight, and manage inventory of onboard items.

Safety & Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure all inflight operations meet the necessary safety requirements as set forth by aviation authorities (e.g., FAA, EASA).
• Work with the safety officer to review and implement safety procedures, conduct inflight safety drills, and ensure the inflight team is properly trained in emergency protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aviation regulations, safety requirements, and industry best practices.

Collaboration with Other Departments:

• Collaborate with flight operations, maintenance, and scheduling teams to ensure smooth coordination of flight schedules and maintenance activities.
• Work with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures that improve inflight services, safety, and operational efficiency.

Budget and Financial Management:

• Assist in managing the budget for inflight services, including catering, supplies, and staffing.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
2. Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business aviation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role overseeing inflight operations or crew management.
• Proven experience in managing inflight teams, providing customer service, and working in a high-pressure environment.

3. Strong knowledge of aviation safety standards, aircraft operations, and inflight services.
