Responsibilities of Engineering Manager:

• Design and implement effective warehouse layouts and storage solutions.
• Lead and oversee warehouse projects from planning to execution.
• Select and manage the appropriate equipment for operational efficiency.
• Collaborate to optimize space utilization, streamline processes, and reduce costs.
• Analyze data to develop logistics strategies and improve productivity.
• Identify and validate storage solutions to boost capacity.
• Provide coaching and support to operational teams.

Requirements:

• Min Degree in Engineering
• Min 2 years of warehouse automation experience in managerial level
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCad

• Planning and scheduling of projects
• To manage M&E construction projects and to monitor the projects are carried out with respect to the target schedule
• To handle design for Electrical and ELV works and to ensure clients' requirements are met
• To attend project meeting and to coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors and sub contractors
• Preparation of Progress Claim, Materials Submission, Risk Assessment, Progress Report, Shop Drawings & As Built Drawings for projects
• To forecast and anticipate possible issue for projects and to eliminate potential risks

The Project Manager manages all aspects of the construction site, from site preparations to build-out to handover

- Oversee construction projects from beginning to end

- Manage the budget and estimate costs

- Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team

- Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects

- Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards

• Manage work permit holders salary payment calculation
• Handle purchasing including but not limited to calling for quotations, negotiations, etc.
• Maintain proper filing system, documentation, and database of employees and work permit holders
• Monitor stock and order of stationery, office equipment and etc
• Monitor company assets and equipment and schedule for maintenance
• Organize and coordinate festive events for company
• Support ad-hoc duties, projects and coordinate company activities as assigned
• Understands basic accounting entry and systems
• Experience in construction and related industry will be preferred

• Perform checks on the structural, architectural and M&E materials/works to ensure that the final touch-up works are ready for inspections.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements (in accordance to BCA’s Good Industry Practice)
• Monitor the performance of subcontractor workers for all trades and ensure any defects are properly rectified
• Prepare relevant QA/QC reports
• Implement QA/QC plans and ensure PPVC quality before delivery
• Ensure the functionality of the product before handing over to buyers
• Assist in preparing for QM submissions
• Assist in yearly ISO audits
• Assess, feedback on the construction process and procedures
• Execute quality control as per site specific materials and Works Quality Plan.
• Conduct relevant training for sub-con and internal staff.
• Issuance and handling of Site Memo.
• Monitor undertaken corrective and preventive actions against non-conformities.
• Arrange and liaise with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments.
• Recommends solutions for critical and/or frequent recurring defects to Project Team.
• Ensure all the method statement used has obtained approval from the clients and consultants.
• Follow-up all the required tests as per contract requirement.
• Attend regular site meetings – QAQC, Landscape Coordination Meeting and Client Meeting.
• Attend off-site inspection – Precast and Structural Steel Works (Malaysia and Singapore Factory)
• Follow the developer’s Quality Inspectors (QI) and Customer Service Officers (CSO) for inspection prior to unit handover to owners.
• Attend to unit owner’s defects during Defect Liability Period.
• In-charge of the handover of the common areas to management team.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a degree related to QA/QC knowledge
• Prior experience related to construction industry (Condominium projects etc.)
• Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance
