Happy Tutors Learning Centre is a Social Enterprise looking to offer the highest quality bespoke education services to every student in Singapore. We have 6 centres spanning the East and West of Singapore.

We are looking for passionate tutors who are keen to work with students and help them in their school curriculum. Our centre is focused on customised learning and the tutor needs to be able to adapt their teaching to different learning styles.

Details for Candidates

• 5.5 Days work week (1 Weekend inclusive)
• Weekday Timing: 1300 - 2130 Hrs
• Weekend Timing: 0930 - 1700 Hrs
• Part-time positions available

Job Scope

• Teaching students in assigned classes (about 30 hours a week)
• Create new learning material for the centre
• Assist in the centre operations in other matters
• Contribute to the learning programmes offered by the centre

Part-time Cooking Class Instructor for children’s Cooking Classes:

Responsibilities:

• Teach or assist the teacher with conducting cooking class for children
• Assist with setup and preparing for the cooking session
• Prioritising safety while using all kitchen equipments and assisting children with their tasks.
• Assist with clean up after the cooking class, cleaning kitchen utensils.
• Planning or assist teacher with planning for the cooking class.
• Ensuring compliance with all centre's policies and procedures as related to the job responsibilities of this position.
• Relating courteously and effectively with students, parents, school personnel as necessary.
• Maintaining a safe, fair and kind environment before, during and after the cooking classes.
• Word processing and printing
• Posting food photos and reels on social media.

Required:

• Min GCE 'A' Level
• Really loves cooking / baking and is able to follow recipes.

We are looking for a Chinese Language Teacher Assistant who can assist the preschool teachers with child care duties in the morning and some days as a afterschool care teacher in the afternoon.

• Guide primary school children on their daily homework and assessment book (Mainly Chinese work supervision)
• Ensure safety of children.
