Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of tunnel construction, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Plan and coordinate daily site activities, including resource allocation, equipment management, and labor scheduling.
• Monitor excavation, tunneling, and lining operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
• Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
• Coordinate with engineers, geologists, and other specialists to address technical challenges and adjust plans as needed.
• Manage the procurement and timely delivery of materials and equipment specific to tunneling operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential issues, such as ground conditions and water ingress.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, project schedules, and cost control records.
• Liaise with project managers, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to provide updates and ensure compliance.
• Oversee and manage the quality control of tunnel construction, conducting inspections and tests to ensure alignment with design specifications.

Requirements:

Project and Business Manager Naval

The Naval Project and Business Manager will ensure the smooth execution of the naval program in the Singapore and Malaysia region. In coordination with the sales department, they will be responsible for supporting the sales process, prospecting, acquiring, and managing clients, while leveraging advanced technical expertise. Additionally, they will provide guidance on our range of solutions within the naval navigation sector.

Responsibility:

Manage the contractual relationship with clients:

• Ensure the follow-up and consideration of contractual requirements.
• Guarantee the quality of deliverables in accordance with the quality policy.
• Manage risks, budget, and billing

Manage the technical relationship with clients:

• Respond to clients' technical requests, relying on internal expertise.
• Oversee internal technical activities to ensure cost, schedule, and client satisfaction requirements are met.
• Monitor specific developments.

Ensure and Develop Naval Market:

• Occasionally participate in responding to tenders for our clients.
• Develop a business plan to target the market.
• Collaborate with marketing, technical, and sales teams to build strategies for Naval expansion in the region.
• Identify and prospect new markets and growth opportunities, in support of the commercial team.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and events to promote Exail products and services.

Requirement:

• Electronic Engineering degree.
• Proven experience in Bid or project management Naval defense sector.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in English is essential; knowledge of French languages is a plus.
• Availability for frequent international travel.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and direct ship repair, construction and conversion projects.
• Conduct and lead the daily VSCC meeting on hot-works and incompatible jobs onboard to ensure safety of personnel and property are not endangered.
• Meet repairs / refit schedules by planning, monitoring projects’ critical path, cost control and execution.
• Develop good working relationship with customers and maintaining teamwork showing high interests.
• Solve daily conflicts at ground level by monitoring and coordinating sequential and incompatible jobs affecting master schedule.
• Closely liaise with classification societies, ship owners, owner specialist engineers, vessel crew and ship agents to ensure successful completion of the project meeting or exceeding customer’s expectations.
• Meet commercial / naval contractual commitments and quality of repaired ship.
• Capture additional works and raise work list and provide information to Commercial Dept for more competitive pricing.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Naval Architecture/Marine/Mechanical Engineering.
• Possess 5 to 7 years’ experience in similar capacity from marine / heavy industries.
• Possess SRM Certificate
• Able to make appropriate decisions and judgments, decisive and take proper actions.
• Able to lead and manage ship repair, construction and conversion projects independently.
• Willing to work late at times and possess leadership qualities.
• Proficient in MS Office

• Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
