You will develop AI-powered equipment health analytics software for manufacturing, oil and gas, and other industries. This role is ideal for candidates with strong software development skills and interest in AI applications.

Your Role and Impact

As a Software Developer Intern (Equipment Health Analytics), you will develop AI-powered software for early detection and prediction of equipment failures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable data pipeline and deploy AI models. What You’ll Do

1. Implement scalable backend system for data ingestion, cleaning, processing, and storage of IoT sensor data.

2. Develop AI model lifecycle management (MLOps) that includes training, versioning, monitoring, and automated deployment.

3. Perform system-wide integration and conduct comprehensive testing.

4. Prepare technical documentation.

What We’re Looking For

* Educational Background:

• Minimum Poly, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.

* Technical Expertise:

• Backend software development and software testing.
• Databases, Docker / Kubernetes, Git, REST API / gRPC, and message queues.
• Linux shell scripting.
• AI or machine learning experience (highly desired).

Responsibilities

As an Engineering & Business Development Intern, you will be responsible for designing and presenting customised engineering systems to the company’s prospective clients and ensuring deliverables of the system. You will be contributing to the Engineering team in the following key areas:

Engineering:

• Understand the process of microtunneling and pipe jacking, and its supporting equipment supply scope, such as the automatic bentonite lubrication system, slurry management system, gyro navigation and more.

• Understand customers’ project requirements and assist in designing and proposing suitable systems/solutions.

• Support the engineering team in providing technical information to potential clients.

• Support the engineering team in ensuring all deliverables of the system are achieved during and after setup.

Business Development:

• Source new products that will help to enhance our product offerings and value-add (e.g. chemicals, new equipment or parts for relevant industries).

• Research on relevant engineering systems/solutions across the world and present applicable solutions for construction projects in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Learning Outcomes and Objectives
