This position is responsible for assisting in the planning and direction of the workers and resources of the restaurant for the efficient, well-prepared, and profitable service of food and beverages.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting the Restaurant Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.

• Assisting the Operations Manager to work with chefs and other personnel to plan menus that are flavourful and popular with customers.

• Work with chefs for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies. Estimate food and beverage costs. Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste. Perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high-quality preparation and service.

• To hit all financial targets

• To lead the team on each shift and ensure the company service standards are upheld.

• Work with other management personnel to plan marketing, advertising, and any special restaurant functions.

• Direct hiring, training, and scheduling of food service personnel.

• Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service.

• Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs using the Point of Sales system.

• Assist in operations to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Min GCE ‘N’ level or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and management skills

• Passionate about providing excellent management and interpersonal skills

• Able to work independently and in a team

• Able to communicate in English and 1 other language

This advertisement is recruiting for the position of Part-Time Laboratory Assistant.

If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE primary school located in Dover Road.

Contract Period: From 2 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 (Base Period)

Option to Extend: From 2 January 2026 to 31 December 2026 (Option Year)

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Friday: 8:30am to 2:00pm, inclusive of 30 mins lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

The service required are set out as follows :

• Assist teachers in the preparation of teaching and learning resources and specimens needed.
• Assist in the preparation of resources for science practical examinations.
• Maintain all live specimens and laboratory equipment.
• Conduct periodic stock-taking on laboratory supplies in science laboratory and advise Science HOD / LH on stock level
• Conduct daily cleaning of the Life Science and Physical Science laboratories

The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Like and has the ability to interact with children
• Have experience working as a Science laboratory assistant in primary schools
• Familiar with simple laboratory apparatus and their uses
• Be able to prepare resources as required by the school with minimal supervision

Accounts & Admin Assistant

Role & Responsibility:

• Perform daily accounting and finance duties, including receivables and payables processing, general ledger maintenance and bank and intercompany transactions reconciliation.
• Manage day-to-day function of accounts activities.
• Support audit and tax filings, handle and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, audits, and tax filings (e.g., GST).
• To perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time by the Management.

Requirements:

• Minimum ITE or Diploma holder in any related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
• Proficient in MS Office
• A positive attitude, with an ability to work under minimal supervision
