• Approved Registered RTO Certificate.
• Registered as RTO with Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES)/BCA/ACES.

Responsibilities:

• Be fully conversant with the current Building Control Act and Statutory Boards’ bylaws relevant to the works.
• Carry out daily inspection to ensure works are complying and progressing, inform Employer, Consultants, Site team and Contractor of non-compliance
• Carry out regular site checks on Contractor and ensure compliance to environmental, health and work safety as per MOM requirement
• Comply with all requirements concerning supervision of the contractor’s work, quality control of the works, prepare weekly and monthly site progress reports, assist Consultants to coordinate the various disciplines/trades and the latest information available for the works implementation, attend all site meetings and coordination meetings, and keep a proper documentation system.
• Supervise all testing and commissioning of the various installations and ensure its successful completion and safe operation
• Ensure the required standards of quality and accuracy are maintained for all works and are conformed to contract specifications, construction drawings, approved materials and mock-up, instructions and statutory requirements
• Check through all the architectural, structural and M&E drawings/ documents and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of works
• Be responsible for the supervision of all mechanical, ventilation & air-conditioning, electrical, sanitary and plumbing, lift installation, and fire protection on site.

Main duty:

1. To assist the art dept with acquisition of materials (receiving, DO

processing of purchases, sorting and keeping purchases) as well as do

paperwork for condemnation of obsolete or damaged items, carry out

disposal

2.To manage maintenance and upkeep of Art rooms and resources in

the Art Block (6 Art rooms and Kiln room, Woodwork room, darkroom

and other related areas, including art materials and assets. E.g, Drill

press, Bend Saw, 3D printers)

3.To supervise students at work when no teaching staff is around,

invigilate tests and internal exams when called upon for assistance.

4. To provide support in managing the attendance of Sec 1-4 AEP

Centre students and communicate with sending schools and parents on

results and other admin matters

5. To oversee security of the art rooms by monitoring CCTV data,

locking up rooms at 6pm.

6. To provide support and logistical assistance for department and

students’ participation (Eg SYF Art Festival) and organisation of art

exhibitions (Eg in 2025, Art Festival)

7. To assist in photo-documentation of students at work for purposes of

T&L review

8. To oversee any repairs or renovation works being carried out (Eg

Renovation of art gallery)

rooms, including management of the library, cataloguing and stock

taking
