The Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health (SSHSPH) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is recruiting a Research Assistant/Associate Policy Analyst. The rapid population ageing in Singapore calls for innovative solutions. We aim to assess the impact of health promotion programmes (e.g. urban care farming, cognition training, etc) on the health and health-related behaviours of participants. This project will involve recruitment, assessment, and analysis of the research data. The candidate will also be working on models in policy evaluation. Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our team and support our finance department with daily bookkeeping tasks. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to start their career in finance and gain comprehensive knowledge of full-set accounts. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Bookkeeping (AP & AR):

• Perform daily transaction reconciliation for Aspire & AMEX accounts, including attaching receipts.
• Prepare AP bill submissions for approval.
• Reconcile PayPal daily transactions.
• Check Grab transportation expenses daily.
• Update payment receipts daily, including reconciling DBS transactions.

2. Daily SENTR Monitoring: (Training Required after onboarding– Internal CRM System)

• Monitor SENTR status daily, manage expired campaigns, and update the campaign status change schedule in Monday.com.

3. Daily Client Interaction:

• Read and reply to finance-related emails daily, highlighting important emails for follow-up to HOD.
• Make calls to clients based on Ezycollect call lists and record interactions in Monday.com.

4. Daily Media Budget Spend Monitoring:

• Conduct daily monitoring of the media budget for FPDCL and update the media budget tracking report.
• Update Xero AM and SM daily based on campaign status, exit clauses, changes of AM, and changes of PIC.

5. Adhoc General Ledger Transactions Support:

• Assist with invoicing, revenue recognition, payables/payments, fixed assets, and other general ledger transactions as when required.
• Other Adhoc tasks assigned by HOD.

6. Adhoc Office Administration Support:

• Assist with the company’s office administration tasks as when receptionist on leave, including picking up the incoming call.

7. Learning and Development:

• Gain comprehensive knowledge of full-set accounts through hands-on experience and training.
• Strengthen internal control processes through constant monitoring and evaluation of ongoing projects.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

· No prior experience required; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

· Proficiency in Excel, pivot and vlookup.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

· Familiarity with XERO is a plus but not required.

Working Hours:

· Full-time, 8 hours per day.

We would like to invite talents to apply for the role as Associate/Assistant Vice President. Key role is to provide Finance and Admin support to the team and reports directly to the Head of Finance & Admin.

Role and responsibilities include: -

• Process payments for vendor invoices and staff expense claims. Track accounts receivable, accounts payable and raise tax invoices. Perform daily bank reconciliation.
• Prepare journal entries to record the accounting transactions in a timely manner.
• Prepare financial and regulatory reports to local management, parent & holding companies and regulators including MAS and IRAS.
• Assist with statutory reporting which includes annual audits, preparation of financial statements and tax computation.
• Perform general office administrative work which may include arrangement and coordination of meetings.
• Assist Finance & Admin Head on adhoc projects.

Requirements: -

• Degree/diploma in accountancy or equivalent, or a related field is required.
• At least 3-7 years of related work experience in security brokerage environment or financial sector will be an advantage.
• Proficiency and efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must; proficiency in Sun System will be a plus.
• Good team player.
• Attention to details and commitment to work efficiently.
• Ability in Japanese language will be an asset.
• Applicant must hold a current Singapore Citizenship or PR.

Final position title and remuneration package will commensurate with qualifications and experience. Flexible Work Arrangement is possible.
