• In charge of Management Accounting at Panasonic Consumer Marketing Asia Pacific.
• Supervise Management and Accounting support for Sales companies in APAC region.
• Supervise & Support Implementation of SAP system in Sales company together with PISCAP.
• Supervise other accounting roles as below:
• Review management plans and financial closing of group Sales companies in Asia Pacific region and provide management support.
• Secure consolidated profit and cash balance based on group Sales companies in Asia Pacific region.
• Plan and promote accounting systems pertaining to accounting, tax, finance, investment, and information systems etc.; and provide guidance and support thereof group Sales companies in Asia Pacific region.
• Develop accounting personnel under group Sales companies in Asia Pacific region.
• Manage PCMAP P/L, B/S and cash flow pertaining to accounting, tax, finance and information systems etc.

Job Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Postgraduate in the field of Finance, business or similar.
• Proficient in Japanese and English for communication with Japan HQ and Sales Companies in each country, required to have at least JLPT N1 level
• Candidate must have sense of fairness, courtesy and friendliness when dealing with all kinds of people inside and outside company.
• Prior management experience in the same field is preferable.

Responsibilities:

1.Financial planning and analysis, create and manage financial models, responsible for the Group’s budgets and forecasts, prepare finance date analyse and management.

2. Enhance Financial Processes, establish financial management system,and enhance the Group’s financial processes for efficiency.

3. Prepare comprehensive financial reporting and financial control, monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.

4. Establish a financial analysis procedure and model, and report financial status to management regularly

5. Manage statutory filings including financial statements and tax

6. Prepare project capital plan and ensure proper cash flow and allocation of funds, as well as managing capital risks

7. Assist in cost analysis of investment and financing projects, and cooperate with the formulation of investment and financing plans

8. Other adhoc tasks assigned

Requirements:

1. Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy; CFA, ACCA, CPA and other qualifications are preferred

2. At least 10 years working experience in financial management of Real Estate development/Main-con company, familiar with financing, taxation, cost control and other related to Real Estate development business

3. Strong capabilities in capital management, cost control, risk control and financial analysis

4. Good organization, coordination, communication skills and teamwork spirit, have a strong sense of responsibility

The role will report into the CFO who is based in Middle East and is mainly responsible for the financial control of the entity in Singapore and its subsidiaries. The focus areas are Financial Control and Financial Transactions. These are vital to the success of the business, with process improvement, automation and system investment on the agenda. The role will have direct reports in the Financial Control are in Singapore and indirect reports in the Middle East and India, as well as strong collaboration with the regional Commercial Finance / FP&A team.

Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Oversee the regional responsibility for the financial matters relating to financial and management reporting, consolidation of group accounts, taxation and ad-hoc reports as required by group Headquarters

• Oversee the process for financial reporting and the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements

• Lead the Company’s Statutory and IFRS audit

• Review and improve current Risk Management processes in place with local senior management

• Responsible for cashflow matters, treasury cash management and credit control

• Effective tax planning and structuring for the region

• Responsible for risk assessment of proposals and contract terms and conditions including negotiation / resolutions of commercial contract disputes

• Review and process Non-Disclosure Agreements and other types of cooperative business arrangements when requested. Ensure legal documents are completed and signed (excluding job projects)

• Monitor, evaluate and report on compliance with asset management policies and procedures

• Provide guidance to Finance Department staff members on the implementation and updates of local and Group financial policies and procedures

• Lead, supervise and develop the Staff members in Finance Department which includes guiding staff members in enhancing their knowledge and competency in accounting and financial work

• Support a successful implementation of the new financial system, as well as integration into new systems around the region to manage customers, assets and people

• Automation of accounting processes to improve accuracy, timelines and effectiveness

• Consideration of insourcing external accounting providers in the Middle East and India

• Consideration for India financial shared services function for transactional finance activities

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.

2. Proven work experience in Senior Finance Management role for at least 5 years. Experience across a wide spectrum of finance functions.

3. Strong business acumen and keen analytical skills.

4. Comfortable with ambiguity and works well in a fast-paced startup ecosystem.

5. Demonstrated senior leadership experience, emphasizing successful operational management and strategic planning.
