The FBA will be responsible for the following deliverables

• Business Requirement Document (BRD)
• Functional Specification Document (FSD)
• Data mapping specifications
• Test Strategy
• Review of Unit test / SIT / UAT approach, test cases and results
• review and prioritise defects
• support deployment and post deployment activities
• project status updates and escalation

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and end-users to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of project objectives.
• Translate business requirements into clear and detailed technical specifications, providing guidance and support to the development team throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing systems and processes, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
• Define and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring they align with business goals and objectives.
• Perform feasibility studies and impact assessments to evaluate proposed solutions and make recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and QA teams to clarify requirements, resolve any ambiguities, and ensure accurate implementation.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and prioritization activities, providing valuable insights on technical and functional aspects.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate and verify that developed solutions meet the defined requirements.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 3 to 5 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or a related role.
• Experience working in an IT/software development company or in a client-facing consulting role.
• Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies, such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration platforms.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on translating user requirements into technical specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex concepts and communicate them effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and practices, such as Agile or Scrum.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
