Position Overview:

The Finance Associate/Executive plays a critical role in managing financial operations, analysis and reporting to support strategic financial decision-making within the organization. ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial operations within the organization. This role involves managing various financial tasks, including procurement, inventory management, financial reporting & supporting the team in maintaining the accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Transactions:

• Responsible for procurement and expenses processing and assisting in project claims.

• Ensuring proper recording of transactions as per the financial governance guidelines for audit.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in preparing the budget, supporting schedules, and financial forecasts.

• Monitor budget variances and provide insights to the management for effective cost control.

• Collaborate with HQ finance team to ensure adherence to budget guidelines

3. Internal Controls:

• Establish and maintain effective internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial transactions, as well as support for Internal Audits.

4. Financial Analysis:

• Perform financial analysis and prepare reports to support decision making, including budget analysis, profitability analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and financial modelling.

• Provide insights on financial performance and potential opportunities for growth and efficiency.

5. Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.

• Participate in implementing best practices in financial operations.

6. Records and Information Management:

• Develop and implement records and information management policies, procedures, and guidelines.

• Oversee the creation, classification, retention, and disposal of records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Monitor and maintain the accuracy and integrity of records across the organization.

7. Vendor Management:

• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers related to records management systems.

• Monitor service levels and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal value and performance.

Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

• Several years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with progressive responsibility.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.

• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including spreadsheet applications.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

Finance:

• Able to manage full set of accounts. Responsible for compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST/WHT/CIT/LCR/ BCA/ ISO), audits, procedures, and forms both statutory and internal.
• To ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and prepare required financial reports to Management. Responsible for preparation and closing of annual financial statements.
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax, and government authorities where required.

Key Responsibilities

· Overall accountable and responsible for delivery of testing services across the programme or project/s

· Manage and oversee the day-to-day delivery of test services by Bank appointed vendors in the conduct of testing

· Drive and collaborate with test service providers and relevant Bank’s stakeholders to plan all testing related deliveries for the programme or projects

· Works with the testing service providers and relevant Bank’s stakeholders to review, provide feedback and sign off on the test strategy, test plans and other test service providers’ artefacts for the testing service delivery.

· Coordinates with the Test Governance team to ensure adoption of testing methods, standards and tools, and to coordinate any health checks or audits.

· Ensures that any changes to the scope of services are communicated to the respective test service providers and the impact is factored into the plan.

· Engages with various Bank’s stakeholders (including but not limited to, application, security, infrastructure, business) and testing service providers to ensure testing services meet the banks’ objectives and demand.

· Act as the first point of escalation for any issues raised by the Bank’s stakeholders on testing service providers.

· Quantify, manage, track and report test related statuses, SLA and KPIs, and ensure that defined testing transformation SLA and KPI targets are met for the programme or project/s

· Participate and contribute in forums, as required, to drive testing transformation and innovation.

· Works closely with the Test Engineering Lead to provide inputs around domain specific test engineering requirements and ensure that they are met.

· To support and advance implementation of the test automation strategy for the respective domain

· Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the Vendor Test Managers/Test Leads for the respective domains.

· Engages stakeholder communities to get their feedback on testing service delivery and identify improvement opportunities to be fed back to the Test team.
