Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Handle full set of accounts (AP/AR/GL), ensuring timely & accurate recording of transactions

- Intercompany balances & transactions reconciliation

- Month-end closing processes including accounts closing, schedules, reconciliations and management reports

- Prepare consolidation reporting packs bi-annually & annually

- Prepare & reconcile quarterly GST returns

- Analyze management reports, trends/fluctuations, collaborating across departments to support company objectives

- Cash flow management

- Ensure timely preparation & submission of required statistical reports to authorities

- Liaise closely with auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretariat on audit & filing matters

- Prepare regulatory filing report, annual financial statements & corporate tax

- Support and ensure compliance with all filing requirements

- Participate in system enhancements & implementations, along with continuous process redesign & improvements

- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

- ACCA, Degree in Accountancy or related field

- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in related areas

- Delivery focus and work well under pressure and tight timelines

- Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced dynamic environment

Jewel Changi Airport Devt Pte Ltd (JCAD) is a joint venture between Changi Airport Group and CapitaLand Mall Asia to manage the upcoming development, Jewel Changi Airport. Strategically located in the heart of the airport, Jewel is envisaged to be a world-class lifestyle destination that will enable the Changi air hub to capture passenger mindshare and strongly boost Singapore’s appeal as a stopover point for travelers.

Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, the candidate will assume responsibility for all areas of financial and management accounting. This will include monthly closing of accounts, preparation of audit schedules, variance analysis, filing of GST returns & income tax filing and payment processing. The candidate will also be involved in administrative duties as below.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

Financial & Management Accounting functions:

· Perform month end closing activities and prepare monthly financial statements

· Perform variance analysis on income and expenses, balance sheet and cash flow

· Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Group Reporting Package for submission to both shareholders

· Timely preparation of year-end statutory financial statements

· Liaise with auditors on yearly audit and any special transactions

· Manage Accounts Payable aging

· Process and issue payments to contractors and vendors

· Prepare monthly cash flow forecast

· Prepare intercompany billings

· Enforce finance policies and procedures

· Prepare and file income tax returns

· Prepare and file GST Returns

Admin functions:

· Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office

· Manage office supplies & equipment and liaising with vendors and service providers, ensuring an efficient and well-organized office environment

· Processing of office-related invoices

· Assist in organizing company events, meetings and conferences

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy

2. At least 4 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a MNC environment.

3. Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office skills required and must be proficient in MS Excel.

4. Candidate should be meticulous and possess an analytical mind.

5. Must be able to work independently and takes initiative.

6. Candidates with experience using SAP or other ERP system (eg., Oracle) will be preferred.

1. Responsible for managing Accounts Receivables (AR) & Management Information System (MIS).

2. Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations related to Accounts Receivable and MIS.

3. Conduct a monthly review of AR accounts with other teams.

4. Ensure accurate and timely updates of receipts into system for OPs to review AR outstanding.

5. Liaise with customer and bank where necessary.

6. Identify improvement in work processes to keep up with changing business needs.

7. Responsible for Monthly/Year-end financial closing reporting and ensure all reporting/schedules are accurately and promptly prepared.

Additional Task:

1 Liaise with internal/ external Auditors for audit queries.

2. Ensure Standard Operating procedures and Knowledge Articles are up to date and properly documented.

3. Any other task as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Qualification & Work Experience

• Possess Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Banking, Businessor other quantitative fileds, and at least 3 years work experience in AR
• Demonstrated ability to leads team.

Technical Skills

• Meticulous and handles transactional level work.
• Driven and positive attitude on learning.
• Must be proficient in MS office suite specifically Excel (VBA, macros), PowerPoint and Word.
• Working knowledge of CargoWise would be highly advantageous.

Job Description

Job Requirements

• LCCI higher certificate/diploma or Diploma in Accounting at least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Work experience in a CPA firm would be an added advantage
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using SAP is advantageous
• Must have initiative and ability to multi-task and work independently while being a team player
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Singaporean or P.R. preferred
