Job Responsibilities and Duties:

· Oversee the monthly closing of accounts and ensure timely preparation and submission of financial reports to management.

· Prepare monthly management reports and presentations (including financial and business performance analysis).

· Review and verify expenses.

· Reconcile medical insurance claims to payment reports/collections, and liaise with clinic operations teams to resolve rejected claims.

· Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.

· Prepare and submit annual statutory accounts in compliance with statutory requirements.

· Prepare quarterly GST returns and annual corporate tax filings.

· Prepare relevant financial reports and presentations for Annual General Meetings.

· Liaise with auditors in relation to annual statutory audits.

· Assess current practices and processes, and make recommendations for improvements.

· Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Degree or diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent, with professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CA) a plus

· 3-6 years of relevant experience

· Experience in managing a team of accounting personnel

· Good problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills

· Conscientious and meticulous

· Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

· Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

· Knowledge in Xero accounting software and clinics/retail industries will be an advantage

Job Description:

· Responsible for period-end closing activities such as GL Journal entries, bank reconciliation and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.

· Prepare and perform review on Balance Sheet and P&L monthly schedules.

· Responsible and maintain Fixed Asset Register

· Improve on current processes, procedure and internal controls as required.

· Handling accounts receivables & account payables

· GST submission

· HR related matters such as salary, letter of offer, job posting, staff claim, petty cash etc

· Office General Administration eg : pantry/stationery ordering, courier arrangement etc.

· Provide sales support to the team

· Handle ad hoc assignments and projects as and when required

Job Requirements:

· Min. Degree in Accounting

· 2 - 3 years experiences in Accounts, Admin and HR

· Experience with NAV system

· With audit experience is a plus

· Able to work independently and committed

· Good personally, multitasking, willing to learn and flexible on the task

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role holder will be responsible for Treasury function within MINDS, overseeing some Accounts Payable functions and supporting Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis in providing a reliable and responsive Financial Planning and Analysis function across the Organisation to facilitate effective decision making.The role holder will be responsible for the provision of timely, accurate, relevant management information to all levels of management and regularly reviewing this information. This will include provision of monthly reports, critical review and interpretation of results and value-add analysis.

Financial Planning and Forecast:

• Support Senior Manager FP&A in:
  • • budget planning, forecast and review exercise across MINDS, including annual budget & workplan and mid-year review
  • Ensure adequacy, timeliness and accuracy of periodic Management reports
  • Participate in business cases, review assumption and financial calculations for proposals
  • costing and development of pricing models

Accounts Payable:

• Oversee all corporate card reporting and reconciliation process
• Oversee all petty cash claims and reconciliation process
• Provide cover for payment processing

Treasury:

• Coordinate surplus fund management in accordance to investment mandate
• Prepare cash flow analysis and forecast to facilitate operations and maximise use of surplus fund
• Liaise with banks for banking mandate

Other duties:

• Preparation of resolutions and forms for banks
• Drive system and process improvement
• Ah-hoc verification works

Degree in accountancy, ACCA or equivalent.

• Singaporean or Singapore PR only
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Independent worker with a keen eye for details.
• Strong in Excel and Experience in Oracle NetSuite is advantageous.
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent is advantageous
