As an Executive, Finance, you will be responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices, payments, and related financial documentation. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage invoices and vendor payments, aged payables reports, balance sheet schedules (e.g., prepayments, accruals, work in progress, recoverables), SOA reconciliation and accruals, fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and assigning fixed asset ID tags.
• Maintain annual fixed asset and petty cash counts
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and confirm the receipt of goods or services
• Assemble, review, and process invoices for payment; ensure timely vendor payments
• Assist in system implementation and audits
• Contribute to optimizing current processes to shorten month-end closing timelines
• Provide additional support as needed to ensure the organization meets its payment obligations

Requirements:

The Finance Executive plays a crucial role in supporting the financial health and efficiency of the organization. Your responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting in financial planning and analysis. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to provide insights and recommendations that drive strategic decision-making.

Job Scope

Accounting and Bookkeeping:

• Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting functions.
• Responsible for monthly management accounts and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely invoices/bills registration.
• Prepare and process sales POs - following up closely with debtors for sales proceeds.
• Prepare and process monthly payroll & CPF and employee claims.

Financial Reporting and Budgeting

• Responsible for financial policies and procedures, budgeting and tax.
• Responsible for annual/ biannual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Ensure timely financial closing and reporting functions – monthly.
• Prepare monthly management report and highlight the financial performance and financial position of the company to the finance manager’s review and action.

Compliance and Audits:

• Implement and operate controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Monitor operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.

Cash Flow Management:

• Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure operational liquidity.
• Prepare cash flow statements and projections.
• Assist in liquidity planning and cash flow optimization.

Support and Collaboration:

• Communicate and work with overseas third party partners and corporate office partners.
• To perform any other function and tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
• Constantly correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Recognized ACCA / Diploma in Accounting & Finance / Business or equivalent qualification.
• 2-3 years minimum experience preferred – experience in a listed company and XERO accounting software would be an added advantage.
• Detailed oriented, meticulous, strong discipline, able to perform and manage deadlines effectively.
• Able to communicate effectively & professionally with vendors and other departments of the company.
• Ability to start immediately would be an added advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for budgeting, financial planning including cash flow management and analysis of the financial performance of a group of companies
• Prepare and ensure timely and accurate monthly consolidated financial statements and accounts schedules
• Support Investment and Asset Managers in timely reporting to Management and Investors
• Liaise with external and internal auditors, tax agents and lawyers to support audit, tax and other statutory requirements
• Establish collaborative business partnering relationship and lead the team in improving existing policies and processes and transform it through the active adoption of digital tools for better efficiency and costs savings

REQUIREMENT

• Design, develop, and implement risk models such as application / behavioral / collection (ABC) scorecards, Expected Credit Loss (ECL) models, Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) models, Liquidity Gap Report, stress test models, etc.
• Utilize statistical and quantitative techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data analytics to enhance the predictive power and accuracy of risk models.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify key variables and market trends that impact credit, market and liquidity risks.
• Work closely with product managers and data owners to ensure the availability and quality of data required for model development.
• Collaborate with product managers and IT teams to integrate models into the organization's systems and ensure seamless execution.
• Perform ongoing validation and back-testing of risk models to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify and address any issues or weaknesses in the models through continuous monitoring and improvement processes.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for risk models, methodologies, and validation processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or other relevant fields. Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field is preferred.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
