Job Scope & Responsibilities

- Oversee financial planning and business performance analysis by handling full set of accounts and ensure timely closing

- You will ensure the accuracy of financial statements and adhere to corporate reporting timetables such as preparing quarterly GST submission and Corporate Tax submission & liaising with external auditor

- To ensure compliance with established financial processes, local compliance requirements, financial reporting policies and ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner.

- You must possess the knowledge to evaluate the company's P&L and will be responsible to plan for the implementation of finance strategies.

- Provide management reports monthly & yearly & Audit Schedule to Director and perform any other duties as assigned by the management

Requirements

- Possess a degree in accounting, finance or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

- Prior experience from the F&B industry is an advantage.

- Have a strong understanding in inventory management and costing.

- Possess strong communication, presentation skills & positive working attitude

- Software skills: MS Office, ERP software such as TALLY & SAP preferably

This role is responsible for managing IT expenses with estimated amount of SGD 200 million annually, as well as overseeing a workforce across 11 countries in the APAC region, with Singapore serving as the Regional Office.

The Regional team comprises of members with diverse backgrounds and nationalities, hailing from different countries including Singapore, India, and Indonesia.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead in coordinating, preparing, and presenting IT expenses and headcount reports, forecasts, and strategy to stakeholders, including local, regional, and head office management. This includes attending regular meetings and steering committee meetings.
• Lead and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving IT Finance operations, including automation, reporting, modelling, and presentations. This includes documenting, implementing, and promoting these initiatives alongside Line Managers.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on IT expenses, giving advice and guidance to other departments and branches. This includes, but is not limited to, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, chargebacks, and other expense-related discussions, which result in the consolidation of information across the APAC region.
• Lead and contribute for executing the operational tasks of IT finance for the Regional Office in Singapore.
• Undertake necessary investigations into data and processes to allow for continuous improvement across the APAC region, including scrutinizing payments, monitoring expenses, and investigating anomalies.
• Carry out in-depth review sessions with members of other departments/branches to discuss actuals, forecasts, and budget variances.
• Analyze data to provide informed recommendations on expense management to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Review procurement requests from ASO members to ensure effective budget utilization.

Job requirements:

• Min 7 years of relevant professional experience in IT and Finance
• Experienced strategic planner to align with the organization target goal, including define the framework.
• Experience in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A degree holder
• A self-motivated individual with a high level of responsibility and proactivity, possessing the ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision. A strong sense of ownership and accountability is essential.
• Demonstrable ability to identify existing processes and envision efficient alternatives for implementation.
• Capable of performing tasks with limited reliance on IT and efficiency in executing manual operations.
• Exceptional analytical and communication abilities, both written and verbal, are a must.

• Liaise with the Singapore Accounting Department to resolve any issues related to payments, accruals, or other accounting matters.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the reviews of investment project applications, which includes guiding/ advising applicants on the budget application till the approval of the investment project for APAC countries (Singapore as Regional HQ and 10+ branches) with estimated amount of SGD100mil annually.
• Review monthly investment projects forecast, follow up on the outstanding items, prepare consolidation for variance analysis and reporting for APAC.
• Maintain and ensure data quality and completeness of the budget, actual and forecast for investment reports.
• Monitor and track systems investment budget utilization, assess the gap and implement necessary measure to improve the utilization.
• Provide support in the preparation of finance monthly, quarterly reporting and ad hoc meeting materials and reports.
• Manage and in charge for the quarter IT Budget Committee Meeting for Asia
• Maintain internal and external resource rates and act as liaison on any communication between relevant stakeholders.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, work with respective stakeholders to formalize and support the implementation.
• To support HOD and Line Heads in planning and promoting ASO initiatives.
• Assist Line Heads in responding to the instructions from Head Office audit / Internal Audit department / Internal control / External inspection.
• Provide support to the process transformation projects including the implementation of IT finance budgeting tools.

Job Requirements:

• A Degree and experience in Accounting & Finance, or ACCA with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in handling IT finance, project portfolio management.
• Experience in implementation of AS-IS process.
• Require Responsible, proactive, fast learner, hands-on, work independently with less supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Advanced Excel
• Possess good communication, writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to work within a pressurized environment, meeting challenging deadline
• Energized to operate with urgency and prioritizing work accordingly
• Preferably to have the "change" adoptable mindset.
