Lakeside Family Services started by Faith Methodist Church, is a charity which has served the community since 1993, regardless of race, language, or religion. We develop resilience in disadvantaged children, mould troubled youths into contributing individuals, empower active seniors to help lonely seniors, assist ex-offenders in reintegrating into society, and help women with unsupported pregnancies.
We are an Institution of a Public Character (IPC) and a member of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS).
Social Media Content Creator & Programme Executive - Youth Mental Health
About the Role:
As a Social Media Content Creator and programme Executive, you will play a vital role in driving awareness and support for youth mental health initiatives. You will be responsible for creating engaging content across various social media platforms and coordinating and executing youth mental health programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Content Creation:
Develop compelling and informative content that promotes youth mental health awareness and resources, including text, images, videos, and graphics.
Manage our social media accounts, including posting, responding to comments, and monitoring engagement metrics.
Foster a supportive online community by interacting with our followers and building relationships.
Stay current with social media trends and identify opportunities to leverage them for our cause.
Programme Execution:
Coordinate and execute youth mental health programmes, workshops, and events.
Collaborate with schools, community organisations, and mental health professionals to develop and deliver effective programmes.
Facilitate workshops and discussions on youth mental health, stress management, and coping mechanisms.
Provide support and guidance to young people seeking assistance with mental health concerns.
Job Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the algorithm of various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok) and their best practices.
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Premiere Pro).
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Experience in social media marketing and advertising and SEO and content marketing knowledge.
- Strong understanding of youth mental health issues and resources.
- Passion for youth mental health and a desire to make a positive impact.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
