Job requirements

Job scope

Manage financial closing process and audit for Singapore entities

Perform costing analysis, identifying and highlight areas of improvement to Business unit to assess in improving overall margin

Involve in month end closing process from preparing journal to prepare management report

Review financial data and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual report for analysis

Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting

Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting of entity financial statements including supporting of group reporting pack

Review of GST computation and form to ensure compliance with GST Laws

Prepare audit schedules or balance sheet reconciliation to ensure items are clear off on timely basis

Oversee the cost control function with support from the team

Liaise with Auditors, Tax Agent and/ or any consultant regarding Accounting and Taxation matter

Responsibilities

The Employee’s overall responsibilities will be to generate sales, prepare details and comprehensive quotations in the support of the Sales Director / General Manager and to support existing business for the supply of VEM products

Related to such overall responsibilities are specific duties which are not exclusive and may be modified or added to the interest of the business. In any event, the following duties are:

• Provide professional and timely sales support to the Company’s clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ACCA, or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/SFRS, Singapore Tax, and GST regulations
• Familiarity with Transfer Pricing and corporate functions
• Previous audit or public accounting experience is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office, especially advanced MS Excel skills
• Finance modeling and analytical abilities
• Proven team management skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management
• Strong communication skills for non-financial stakeholders
