Responsibilities

• Manage operations to ensure smooth business operations

• Attend the daily briefing conducted by the F&B Manager in the absence of the Banquet Operations Manager.
• Supervise staff/part-timers and provide necessary training for all staff.
• Co-ordinate, organise and plan upcoming Banquet functions from staffing arrangement, audio/visual equipment, sound system, furniture, linen, guest supplies, set-up to billing.
• Rectify defects in Function Rooms, public area or equipment through the follow-up of Maintenance Work Order.
• Check and ensure the equipment set up is clean and in good working condition. This also applies to lighting and air-conditioning.
• Check signages for the entrance of Function Rooms, between guest lifts and hotel lobby, and also put up Chinese signage, if necessary.
• Handle complaints and feedback by guests or organizers and take immediate action to resolve any issues that may arise.
• Responsible for opening bills and presenting bill settlements to organizers after functions.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Diploma in Public Relations or any related fields
• Have prior experience in Food & Beverage establishments

• Ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day function of the centre
• Provide exceptional customer service through answering the phone, and handling general enquires
• Promote compliance to ethical and responsible data use principles by ensuring necessary data is collected, accurately updated, and maintained in the systems
• Provide administration support and clerical activities for 3 satellite centres (Bedok, Cantonment and Woodlands)
• Ensure timely submission of reports to stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of Strategic and Integrated Communications to strengthen visibility, awareness and understanding of MINDS, and to spread the narrative of inclusion, empowerment and advocacy for PWIDs

• Manage publicity for corporate events, including writing press releases, updating media materials and on-site media management
• Manage media queries and requests, including drafting media statements and responses
• Cultivate good relationships with the media and influencers to build goodwill.
• Develop and execute public education initiatives to raise public awareness of MINDS mission and service offerings, house brand products, through events, presentations, tours, exhibitions etc
• Identify event and content partnership opportunities.
• Obtain stories from MINDS entities.
• Generate ideas to elevate the brand while providing assistance to entities to ensure compliance of branding guidelines
• Facilitate and/or review external partners requests for collaboration and publicity materials with mention of MINDS.
• Produce corporate publications including but not limited to corporate brochures, annual reports, newsletters and videos and ensure any necessary information is circulated to MINDS staff in a timely manner.
• Initiate and expand MINDS social media influence and engagement, through new channels, content creation, etc.
• Ensure MINDS social media platforms are maintained and maximised for engagement and storytelling, through development of social media content calendar, etc
• Manage social media analysis and measurement of outreach success/outcomes.
• Manage website content on WordPress, ensuring information relayed to the public is updated and accurate. Tasks including but not limited to creation of new pages, update existing pages/content, copy editing.

• Degree in Mass Communications/ New Media and Communications/ Marketing/ Public Relations/ Digital Marketing/ or relevant subjects.

• At least 3 years of work experience in communications, marketing, social media, content creation
• Good grasp of written, editorial and oral communications
• Experience in and an eye for photography and graphic design
• Added advantage for those with knowledge/skill/experience in graphic design, video editing, media relations, corporate branding, digital marketing, WordPress, SEO

Key Accountabilities:

• Liaise actively with various channels of recruitment, including recruitment agencies, to identify and recruit good candidates.
• Maintain healthy recruitment pipelines by working closely with relevant stake holders.
• Plan, coordinate and conduct effective sales training of new hires for compliance and product related content monthly.
• Participate in regular coaching of existing salesperson to improve sales performance.
