The Finance & Operations Senior Executive reports to the company founder and general manager (ex-eCommerce Architect at Razer and ex-Digital Marketing Manager at Unilever) and plays a key role in our financial management, accounting and classroom operations. Donation Processing and Review

• Peruse the bank statements and identify donations received for recording in Donation Management System (DMS). To liase with the relevant parties to obtain necessary information for recording purpose (e.g. through fundraising department or liase with donors).

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and oversee the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and reporting packages of a portfolio of companies;
2. Oversee the month end closing process for a portfolio of companies;
3. Supervise a team of junior accountants/executives in day to day outsourced finance function, including AP processing and payroll;
4. Plan, oversee and/or execute the consolidation of financial statements;
5. Compilation of financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
6. Lead or assist as appropriate, the financial management services;

Requirements:

1. At least 4 years (Senior) or 5 years (Supervisor) working experience in similar field with some years of external audit experience or outsourcing function within corporate service providers.
2. Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or their equivalent.
3. Well-verse in SFRS, IFRS and generally acceptable accounting practices.
4. Good knowledge of internal control, risk management and corporate governance.
5. Sincere and committed, good time management and problem-solving skill, resourceful, proactive, able to work independently within fast-paced environment, effective verbal, and written communication skill.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

· Assist with asset management transactions/postings in Workday and Digital Workplace Asset Management System, reconciliations, etc

The Senior Finance Executive supports the finance department in carrying out the responsibilities of the finance department. He/she is involved in work that is specific to accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax filing, data compilation, billing, or other accounting tasks. Job Purpose

Reporting to the Finance Manager, FSS-AR & AP, you will manage a team of Senior Accounts Officers to provide support on all AR and AP matters for the assigned portfolio. You will also have an opportunity to participate in projects relating to process automation or process improvements.
