Overview of the role

GENERAL OVERVIEW

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Risk Management

• Manage and apply the Risk Management Frameworks including reviewing and enforcing policies, procedures, tools and methodologies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Risk Management, Business Administration or relevant discipline.
• Candidate shall have at least 5 years of working experience, preferably in Risk Management and/or Insurance function, or Internal / External Audit role. Additional finance-related work experience will be considered favorably.

Job Description

Key roles and responsibilities include:

• Support in daily operations and timely resolution of critical issues
• Work with the consultant on system issues
• Work with AP Helpdesk for queries relating to NPO & PO cases
• Follow up with vendors and departments on escalated issues
• Follow up with requestors on pending verification cases and queries
• Follow up with departments on rejected BAPI payments
• Perform Ariba recon check on POP, SGD currency with TT bank accounts and foreign currency with GIRO accounts etc.
• Review of vendors with more than 2 bank accounts
• Perform pre & post-check analysis which include:

- Review the validity of denied and resolved cases
- Perform POP, DDA and invoice no. format pre-check
- Perform duplicate check on NPO & PO cases
- Review the inputs accuracy for MIRO posting

• Enhance user guides and SOP
• Support in process improvement projects

Qualifications

• Possess a recognized degree in Accountancy, CPA/CA preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Working experience in an auditing firm will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge of SAP S4 Hana.
• Possess good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills and process improvement mindset.

-Ensure that the restaurant and kitchen is properly maintained and clean
-Oversee food preperations, presentation and storage to ensure food health and safety compliency
-Regular checks with customers to gather feedbacks
-resolving of conflicts in a professional way

Budget controlling

- Manage all subsidiaries under the region to achieve financial target

- Liaise with BUs for sales and profit improvement

- Reporting for the visibility of business performance to management and BUs

- Identify management and business issues and propose for solution from FAD perspective

- Support the Mid-term plan by communicating with BUs

Inventory and AR improvement

- Liaise with business for inventory to achieve the target

- Liaise with all subsidiaries to achieve AR target

- Initiate to develop and implement operational rule and tools

Cooperation with headquarter in Japan

- Establish a good relationship with Japan headquarters for better cooperation.

- Reporting the financial numbers and provide analysis to Japan headquarters in a timely manner.

- Understand Japan headquarters’ direction and deploy it to the region

Requirement

•  Experience in our group budgeting operation for more than 2 years
•  Sufficient knowledge of our entire group business
•  USGAAP/IFRS accounting knowledge
•  Possess good knowledge of business controlling
•  Team management and leadership skill.
•  Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•  Possess good disposition.
•  Good project management skill.
•  Excellent written and verbal communication in both English & Japanese as this role will need to liaise frequently with headquarters in Japan
