About the Role

To support the growth strategy of Everest International, we are expanding our Finance team in Singapore with this newly created role.

The primary responsibilities of this role are to support the Finance Operations team, and to manage all accounts payable and accounts receivables tasks. Key Accountabilities

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting the Global Compliance Testing function in performing deep dives and targeted risk-based reviews of Financial Crimes Compliance (AML, Sanctions, ABC) processes across APAC with an emphasis on the design and effectiveness of measures (controls) taken to monitor and mitigate applicable risk.

About the Role

To support the growth strategy of Everest International, we are expanding our Finance team in Singapore with this newly created role.

The primary responsibilities of this role are to support the Finance Operations team, and to manage all accounts payable and accounts receivables tasks.

This role will also give you the opportunity to work closely with other departments and functions as well as regional colleagues to support local and regional transformation projects.

Key Accountabilities:

• Invoice Processing – Receive, verify, and process invoices from vendors and suppliers. Ensure all invoices are properly supported and accurately booked to the ledger on a timely basis.
• Expense Reimbursement – Process and review employee reimbursement to ensure it complies with company policies. Expense should be recorded promptly with precision.
• Payment processing – Prepare and execute payment run in SUNS. Ensure all payments are made within agreed terms and compliance with company policies.
  Payments includes but are not limited to invoice, staff reimbursement, reinsurance, return premium, broker brokerage, intercompany and interbank transfer.
• Month End Closing – Assist with month end and year end closing procedures. Which includes preparing accruals, journal entries and audit schedules.
• Prepare intercompany invoices on a quarterly basis, validating expenses before sending to our affiliates.
• Record incoming receipt (UA)
• Maintain and monitor listing of unallocated receipts
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Undertakes any other finance duties as may be assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Abilities

• Preferably, 1+ years of experience in accounts payable/accounts receivables
• Proficiency in ERP Oracle

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the financial aspects of the reporting entity (RIs) that is/are assigned
• Financial aspects include budgeting and planning, financial and management reporting and financial analysis of the RIs

Your key responsibilities:

• Support the APAC Regional Head of Sanctions in protecting DB from legal, regulatory, and reputational risk with regard to business involving sanctioned entities and / or countries.

The Group Financial Reporting Assistant sits within HARPS Investment Asia Pte Ltd, reporting to the Senior Manager for Financial Reporting.

Based in Singapore, the roles and responsibilites of this position includes but are not limited to the following:

Internal reporting:

1. Assist in Group Consolidation of entities across the region for preparing actual Group monthly results. Familiarity with group consolidation processes is required, including posting consolidation adjustments entries.
2. Perform reconciliation of intercompany balances and transactions at Group level.
3. Monthly analysis and variance explanations for reporting of Group financial results.
