MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Business analysis
  • Assist controlling team for month-end closing tasks = review of accruals, monthly reporting for the HQ, Region or for local management

  • Support with preparation of budget template and consolidation for SEA-OC
  • Assist with budget submission to HQ

• Internal Control
  • Review Internal Control Cockpit and highlight potential control issues
  • Support with follow-up action on retail audit, working closely with Retail teams

• Other
  • Support with development of Power BI for Net Sales and P&L monitoring
  • Review of controlling procedures and update if needed
  • Streamline reporting processes and help to organize access to data
  • Ad hoc analysis and project follow up

During your internship, you will receive a comprehensive introduction to the bank and our various business segments. In addition, you will be provided with opportunities to network with our senior leaders.

You will be required to undertake a project during the internship. At the end of the programme, you will present your learning to the senior managers and Human Resources. 

As an intern with the Credit Ops Financial Transactions Team, you have the opportunity to participate in small process improvement initiatives/projects.

You will assist the Credit Ops Financial Transactions Team for the following:

• Support financial transaction processing e.g loan disbursement, loan collection & redemption, GL reconciliation & etc
• Insurance renewal process

By the end of the internship, you would have learnt about financial transactions on loan processing.

Hands-on experience in the development, analysis and management of financial products.

• Conduct market research to inform product development strategies
• Create product documentation (e.g. product specifications, user guides and training materials)
• Derive key product findings, insights and recommendations to ensure product reliability and effectiveness.

What you will need:

• Must be organized, detail-oriented and can work independently
• Must be able to work in ambiguity 
• Strong ownership of work.
• Familiarity with SME businesses in Southeast Asia and SME financing concepts
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Business or related fields.
