Job Content Duties and Responsibilities：

• Plan and prepares production schedules for manufacturing to optimize machine utilization to meet production target.
• Supervise and release work orders issuing to meet shipment and production target.
• Monitors the production processes and adjusts schedules as needed to assure smooth flow of production.
• Assist in controlling work-in-process and finished goods inventory to optimize inventory levels
• Monitor and co-ordinate on material supply to ensure timely material availability to support production plan
• Review, monitor and report on factory capacity. Utilize capacity plan when scheduling production and assessing new orders and opportunities
• Analyses and formulates report from production planning.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Qualifications : Minimum a Diploma in any engineering discipline.

Experience/Skills Required :

• Have Production Control experience in a high-volume production environment.
• Proficient in using SAP software in production control and planning
• Independent, technically competent and computer literate.
• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin
• Problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support the work of production planner in general.
2. Support production planner on monthly production plan
3. Support the preparation for monthly production planning meeting.
4. Monitor raw materials/packaging inventory to ensure smooth production.
5. Coordinate with various departments on raw material purchase and delivery.
6. Ensure accurate data in monthly inventory and stock count report.
7. Support plan for re-work schedule to manage off-grade product inventory.
8. Coordinate by-product collection and sales according to established workflow
9. Follow safety regulation in the plant & take active initiatives in safety and environmental management.
10. Other adhoc tasks assigned by production planner.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Diploma or Nitec in chemical engineering or equivalent
2. Other field of study and Candidates without relevant experience will be considered
3. Understand the general workflow of production planning cycle from sales forecast, production planning, raw material planning, material receiving, production, finish goods storage
4. Proficient in using computing software - MS Word and Excel
5. Meticulous and good interpersonal skill is essential.
6. Prior experience using SAP will be advantageous.

Job Info:

• Salary: Basic up to $3000 + AWS + VB
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday (7:50am - 4:55pm)
• Location: Joo Koon (Company transport provided at designated pick-up points island-wide)

Job Scope:

• Oversee production scheduling to ensure timely delivery
• Address any issues that arise during delivery operations
• Manage and control daily operations, including receiving, dispatching, packing, documentation, and delivery processes
• Coordinate with relevant teams regarding production capacity, demand, and delivery timelines
• Monitor work-in-progress to ensure the production team meets the scheduled commitments
• Regularly assess and monitor customer satisfaction levels
• Communicate with customers about monthly forecasts, urgent orders, material availability, and shipment plans
• Conduct month-end closings and annual stock takes
• Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to uphold safety and health standards for workers in the workplace
