Markets Finance Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. In addition to a holistic overview of business performance the candidate will partner with the business around elements of Business strategy and helping/ advising how to reach plan/ target levels. Understanding of RoTCE, GSIB, Revenue, Balance Sheet composition as well as the ability to understand and challenge expenses will be critical. The role will cover the Asian clusters regarding all activity conducted by the Rates and Currencies business. Rates and Currencies consists of four distinct though complementary business lines; Rates, FX, Markets Treasury and Markets Finance. The candidate will also be part of the global team that is tasked with delivering QMMF and CCAR results into the business and then workin closely to ensure accurate representation of business performance and plans.

Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a global team of finance professionals to accomplish established goals
• Drive forward looking processes including forecasts, strategic/operating plans, monthly outlooks, and review results
• Perform analysis and deliver presentations related to the financial performance of Citi and its competitors
• Generate analytics for quarter end flash results, related highlights, Board of Directors reports, and executive management reports as well as lead quarterly competitor reviews, quarterly annotated supplement, and quarterly investment reports
• Lead the estimation of risk capital and embed estimation and other metrics of capital usage into management reports and decision processes

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience within financial services

Primary Objective

• Assist the Unit Head in managing day to day operations of Financial Team

• Provide cross support to other units within Channel Operations as and when required

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Unit Head to supervise and manage the daily BAU of Financial Team
• Perform Maker and/or Checker role for the processing of financial transactions

Position Summary and Objective:

The Senior Vice President with a portfolio of Financial Institution Clients that includes Banks, inclusive of Central and Development Banks, Broker Dealers, Asset Managers, FinTech’s, Insurance Companies, and other FIs as may arise.

The role of the Senior Vice President is to build long lasting trusted client relationships through knowledge of the segments and trends, developing an understanding of the clients operating, organization structure and transaction banking needs resulting in expanding the footprint of Citi products. The Senior Vice President will also act as the clients’ advocate within Citi to support the delivery of TTS Solutions.

The Senior Vice President will manage and support our existing clients’ growth within their assigned portfolios. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing a “best in class” client-centric strategy that includes developing and growing client relationships through the provision of value-added solutions and an exceptional client experience. You will collaborate with the Global team to implement alignment and accountability across our Operations, Service and Onboarding partners to deliver a strong client experience for our Financial Institution Sector clients, including implementation of the data tools across the client TTS interaction points allowing the Senior Vice President to be responsive and proactive to client situations.

You will foster strong partnership with Product and Solution Sales partners to meet the clients’ needs. The Senior Vice President will work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit, Risk, Audit, Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a client-centric strategy to meet TTS growth objectives and implement KPIs with functional partners.
• Portfolio Management and Optimization: Develop deep relationships with key global and regional clients.
• Responsible for incremental cross sell of new TTS products and services.

What does the role involve?

Strategy

• Taking client briefs, challenging them, developing them into inspiring and informative internal briefs and external proposals/ pitch decks.
• Keeping abreast of new trends and developments and sharing those with the rest of the team and company on a regular basis, with an eye to how we can translate these new developments into opportunities or offerings for existing and potential clients.
• You will be responsible for turning ideas into well-rounded, strategically-sound, deliverable plans that you lead and write, collaborating with others in the team to encompass audience insights, trend analysis, marketing/media executions, timings and budgets.

Creativity

• Driving the conception and development of innovative on-brief digital ideas for clients and/or new business, from bigger campaign themes to smaller execution/technology-led ideas. You should be able to collaboratively guide and lead the ideas-generation process, identifying and building on any ideas from other people within the agency. Client Management

• Articulating those plans for clients in written and spoken form - writing and giving clear, compelling presentations.
