Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our dynamic overseas education consulting company. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, provide strategic guidance, and drive financial performance to support the company’s growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, investment strategy, and leadership, ensuring the company’s financial stability and success in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies to align with the company’s mission and long-term goals.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to support decision-making.

Monitor cash flow, optimize resource allocation, and manage risk.

Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure operational efficiency and professional growth.

Evaluate investment opportunities to maximize returns and align with organizational objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and cost efficiency.

Build relationships with key stakeholders, including potencial investors and financial institutions. ( We are looking for investors from mainland China, so strong connection with investment companies in China is a plus).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

8+ years of progressive financial management experience, including leadership roles.

Strong expertise in financial modeling, investment strategies, and risk assessment.

Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Experience with financial systems and tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluent in Chinese and English.(Our customers are mainly Chinese speaking )

Familiarity with the education and overseas education industry in China market is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive and create long-term financial plans that align with the company's overall strategic objectives, ensuring sustainable growth.
• Identify and evaluate fund raising plans including equity, debt, grants, and alternative financing.
• Evaluate, lead or manage Merger and Acquisition (M&A) opportunities or Pre-Initial Public Offering (IPO) process to create shareholder value.
• Drive forecasting and budgeting to align the finance function with the strategic vision of the business and ensuring that budgets are sustainable to match strategic goal.
• Provide financial modeling techniques to identify company’s key financial performance and evaluate investment opportunities.
• Identify financial risks and define strategies for risk mitigation and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Provide expertise tax planning, including transfer pricing, for the organization.
• Identify financial and non-financial drivers of a business to drive and forecast company performance.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years in financial leadership roles, including experience with IPO processes in Singapore or other regional countries.
• Strong strategic planning, financial analysis, and risk management capabilities.
• In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and financial governance.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication skills, and proven ability to secure funding.

Job Responsibilities:

1: In-depth business and capability organization and preparation of the company's annual budget and capital plan, and conduct budget control and rolling adjustments;

2: Establish the company's various financial management systems and strengthen risk control to improve the company's overall financial operation efficiency;

3: Lead the collection, sorting, cleaning and analysis of financial and business data to ensure data accuracy, defects and reliability

4: Ensure the company’s tax compliance and develop tax planning strategies

5: Lead company project declaration

6: Responsible for the organizational management and team building within the financial department.

Job requirements:

Bachelor degree or above, major in finance and economics, financial work experience in listed companies, or work experience in an accounting firm

 3 years of experience in financial management, Internet technology, software industry experience

Good financial analysis and financial management skills, familiar with financial reporting, budgeting and fund management;

Good communication skills and team management skills, able to effectively coordinate the work of various departments;

High sense of responsibility and professionalism, able to withstand a certain amount of work pressure;
